I love your setup. Great job. I have a 2017 Ted off-road. I have a mid-rise leer canopy in the back and am looking at different ideas of mounting a 270 awning without having to install a roof rack over the canopy. It’s taking a bit of research but will get there eventually.
Thanks Sultan A! I know what you mean about the time it takes to research. My awning sat in my garage for almost a year until I finally installed it. I relentlessly scoured the internet for an off-shelf solution but came up empty. It's really hard to do an install when you need parts that you can't get off the shelf. Every time I saw the unopened awning box in my garage, I always asked myself how the heck am I going to mount this thing. Anyhow, I knew I had to design and fabricate a bracket for it and I was just very lucky to bump into old parts that wasn't meant for it but perfectly matched my Billiebars bed rack so everything just worked out well and got done a lot easier than I anticipated so all worked out well. Good luck with your install and would love to see photos/videos when you're done. Thanks for tuning in and enjoy what's left of the summer my friend.
@@modXELA i agree. I think fabrication is the way to go in my case too. I will be in touch and keep you updated on the progress. Thank you for your interest.
Hey Breeze Rides.. nice to hear from you my friend!!! I'm trying to pack in as much camping and off roading trips that I can before summer's gone. Take care!
I have the RTX Baja Offroad 17"x9" for wheels and the Nitto Ridge Grappler 285/70r17 for tires. Checkout my installation video here: th-cam.com/video/DCAAkN1qo40/w-d-xo.html
