Really like this improvised shelving idea for microwave or other stuff - will be thinking about hanging pipes for some other projects. Thanks! - DIYNate
Could you show us the microwave on the shelf? Great idea, I'm curious as to what size of microwave fits there and the measurements of the shelf? Thank you.
That looks amazing!!! I would Love to do that in my RV do you have any suggestions of what I could use so that it is built lighter as weight is always a issue in a RV 😁
I have an RV as well and think I'd use stainless rei rod with fender washers inside and out to sandwich both shelves. I'd also put a cleat on the wall for additional support. If possible put fasteners from t he shelf to cabinets on one or both sides. The micro would need to be prevented from sliding forward and coming off the shelf while travelling.
Not sure that I did anything special. Just screwed them in. I may have had to bend then a little to go through the holes in the shelf, but nothing major.
I’m going to try this! So many poor reviews for all the mounting brackets I looked at on Amazon. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks, good to have you. Let me know how it comes out!
Instead using reducer fittings you could use end caps the bolt underneath the shelf where the reducers were screwed to
Great idea for the shelf! Thanks so much for showing us how to do it.
You’re welcome!

Wow thanks great idea im gonna try to mount to ceiling
Cool. Let me know how it goes!
Holy crap Bro....you can support a car from those brackets. A threaded rod would have done the job as well. Nicely done
Sure, but I like the look of the pipe better than all thread
Great idea man 👍🏽. I’m decéntela trying this in my not so big kitchen.
Thanks! Let me know how it goes. Thanks for watching!
@@IAmAFixer Will do.
Just what I was looking for, thanks for sharing. Would Ikea cabinet handle the weight of the material, shelf and microwave?
Your idea worked! I did this and it looks really nice.

You might be able to use all thread with washers and nuts. The wood isn’t that heavy.

We are trying this and the poles are crooked, what will fix this problem?
cool
How do you get the poles to screw in straight?

Love the idea. Cutie
Love the idea, but I’m renting and can’t make h🕳les. I’m tempted though. 😬
Me too... I want to try but I want back my deposit...
