    I miss the old upload schedule, but I appreciate videos period. Seeing you clearly stress out over time and hard grind these challenge videos makes me sad tho if you don’t like it we don’t need it. Just do what makes you happy poppt. It’s literally your channel! Thank you for content and have a good day!

      Melee is far different a game. Because of many accidents, Melee is far more physical than most games. Melee requires years of practice to be good. Melee effectively uses seven characters but the fast-paced nature makes it interesting. Furthermore, Melee is so broken than tricks are being found to this day. In short, Melee is so dense that even if you understand it it is a far different atmosphere than any other Smash game.

    The improvement was so satisfying to see!
    4th was amazing and you actually had a great punish game for your level, makes sense with M2K analysis lol
    Also don't know if you know, but 2007 M2K is actually a meme to most, no other melee pro thinks he's do well today but it's fun to think about
    I would love more melee though, maybe just chill Unranked in between recording for TH-cam. Maybe it could build up to you entering for a major like you did with ultimate BAM

    Yoooooo you should seriously take up melee! Longtime competitor here. People rarely have as studious of a practice routine as you demonstrated you have, and your energy and genuine joy were heartwarming and really took me back to when i was younger(: you have so much potential!!! Melee is a lifelong hobby thats kept me in touch with some amazing friends. You should try going to an in-person local sometime, theres nothing like it!

  • @Demortalix
    @Demortalix 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

    This is the kind of content Melee needs to move forward, IMO.
    I've played competitively since just before the release of Brawl, being the weird teenager who showed up at a college apartment for a local and getting wrecked by real players on my G&W, and while I've never been good at Melee, this past year I finally hit the realization that my goals now, as an adult, weren't to be the best, but to learn the game and just really enjoy how Melee feels and how the community works. This video is a fantastic showcase of how you can play super sub-optimal (no disrespect to the content creator) but still really enjoy the depth of Melee because MOST OF THE SCENE IS SUB-OPTIMAL. Sure, a top player could watch these videos and pick apart mistakes, but it's not about the top players, it's just about learning the game and leveling up your own skill as you play against others doing the same.

    I think something that you have yet to realize is that Melee is an INSANELY hard game to get good at. There’s a reason why things are still getting optimized at the top level, even after the game has been out for 21 years. It’s not the type of game that you can just pick up and play. You have to climb the tallest mountains, but the reward at the top is MASSIVE.
