Great vid thanks 😊 I’m using Octane, do you know what the equivalent to the colour user data node is? So far the only way I can change the colour is by changing the material colour in photoshop…
First off, thanks a lot for these tutorials lately-- SO helpful for diving into redshift. After checking out this and the previous landscape videos, are there particular advantages of using multiflora vs RS matrix object to scatter objects? Seems like multiflora has a lot of useful randomization and filtering tools built into it. Can it be used with megascans?
Hi Erich, thanks so much for the kind words! You can redo the same things using the RS Matrix Object combined with different Effectors such as the Random or Plain effectors. If I was using assets from megascans I would use the Matrix object. Maybe I'll make a tutorial on this to compare the two methods :)
@@iamrossmason I figured it out. I was putting the polygon selection where the full geometry was supposed to go. Found the filter and using it well. Thanks!
Hi Ross, thanks again for your video, are you gonna upload it on your Gumroad ? and same question for that one : th-cam.com/video/rCXyPy4UxDM/w-d-xo.html I would appreciated if I can buy it for retroactive learning :D Thanks
Hi Mirko, thanks so much for the support! It's tricky as I can't share some of the assets, such as the grass as it's from a 3rd party plugin, but I'll see what I can do for you! :)
A free cookie to whoever guesses how many times I say ‘natural and organic’ 😂🍪
Not enough times 😂
🙏🏻 thank you! trees & flowers in next vid would be great 🙌
I'll put it on my to-do list! Thank you for watching :)

Hey! Thanks a lot for the tutorial, btw can we have same graphic effect in Maya with Redshift?
It's beautiful
thank you!
How do I make a lawn using the plane shown at the beginning of the video?

Hello,
No project file founded in your gumroad profile
thanks 👍
amazing
thank you dude!
Is it possible to filter by polygon selection with the trees expansion pack? I don't see this option in the distribute on geometry window.
Yeah you should be able to! Maybe just make sure you're on the latest version.

please make a video on landsape lighting
I've done a few recently, but I'll continue to keep making them!
🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate you bro!
Thanks so much handsome!
Thanks for the video but is it possible without the forester ? 😔
Thank you! Did a follow up video where I remake a similar scene using free Quixel assets. Hopefully this helps :)
@@iamrossmason i saw it now, you are amazing, thank you so sooo much
❤❤❤❤👌👌👌👌👌👌
mvp!
looks like a P1 game
Is that a good thing?
But your video doesn't teach how to do it, what is the idea of this?

Hi @@iamrossmason No problem for the grass I have Forester and I know it :) its more for the lighting and the terrain setup
