    Awesome tutorial. You just taught me so much in under 20 minutes. On top of the lighting setup, I had no clue the Placement Tool was a thing 😅 Thank you!
    I also didn't know C4D came with folder icons for Nulls. Seeing them in your workflow made me curious, so I started clicking around and found the "Load Preset" option under the Null's Icon options. Looking forward to your next upload!

      @@StepanHKA Hello! And of course! Also - random question, why is it you prefer to use the regular backdrop over the one that's specific to Redshift? Found myself wondering about that!

    • @StepanHKA
      @StepanHKA  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ha Good question! I like to think that I am using a real backdrop to also create a light blocker for the dome light this way I got more directional lighting + reflections but I could be wrong. If yes teach me please 😄🙏

    What about using an emission material on the backdrop and then messing around with the decay of an area light?

    Nice tutorial man! It's very interesting to see how different approaches people have to lighting. Two things I'd like to point out tho, It's usually easier to get a desired look by using exposure in lights than intensity as the range is better suited for smaller adjustments instead of intensitys 0-2. Secondly I'd strongly recommend you do not do the color correction / tone-mapping inside of c4d. Only use that if you do not have access to other programs such as davinci, after effects or photshop (there are of course free tools for this aswell, like gimp etc.)

    This has been a huge help to me. Thank you so much. I've subscribed and liked as well.
    I also purchased the gobo file you mentioned!
    However, I noticed that your file was supposed to be in EXR format, but I received a JPG file instead. Was the file format changed?
    I'm looking forward to more tutorials in the future!
