Awesome tutorial. You just taught me so much in under 20 minutes. On top of the lighting setup, I had no clue the Placement Tool was a thing 😅 Thank you!
I also didn't know C4D came with folder icons for Nulls. Seeing them in your workflow made me curious, so I started clicking around and found the "Load Preset" option under the Null's Icon options. Looking forward to your next upload!
Thank you so much for this comment 🙌. When I found out about placement tool I was freaking out 🤣🤣🤣
Another banger! Needed some new lighting tips so this is perfect, thanks man

Thank you for your comment.
Love this!! So sleek and aesthetic. Can't wait to utilize some of these practices!!
Hey Jess. 🤗 Thank you
@@StepanHKA Hello! And of course! Also - random question, why is it you prefer to use the regular backdrop over the one that's specific to Redshift? Found myself wondering about that!
Ha Good question! I like to think that I am using a real backdrop to also create a light blocker for the dome light this way I got more directional lighting + reflections but I could be wrong. If yes teach me please 😄🙏
This lighting setup video, helps with ALL 3D programs - thank you for hooking it up!
Thanks for this comment 🙌🫶
so useful!! thank you my man!
Thank you, my man! 🙌😎
Thank u so much. This will help me too much to understand the lights in C4D.

Awesome tutorial.
Thank you! Cheers!

Thanks 👌
nice bro
This has been a huge help to me. Thank you so much. I've subscribed and liked as well.
I also purchased the gobo file you mentioned!
However, I noticed that your file was supposed to be in EXR format, but I received a JPG file instead. Was the file format changed?
I'm looking forward to more tutorials in the future!
Thank you!
Thank you too!
Nice tutorial man! It's very interesting to see how different approaches people have to lighting. Two things I'd like to point out tho, It's usually easier to get a desired look by using exposure in lights than intensity as the range is better suited for smaller adjustments instead of intensitys 0-2. Secondly I'd strongly recommend you do not do the color correction / tone-mapping inside of c4d. Only use that if you do not have access to other programs such as davinci, after effects or photshop (there are of course free tools for this aswell, like gimp etc.)
Thank you so much for all the tips 🔥🔥🔥🤗
Nice video :D
Thanks Maty!
I couldnt tell if this was Blender or Cinema 4D(I skipped the title and just clicked). Blender has come a long way.
😁❤️🙏
Informative
Thank you 🙌
What about using an emission material on the backdrop and then messing around with the decay of an area light?
Great Tutorial. Thanks. Where does the backdrop object originate from? I cant find it in c4d.
Thank you for the amazing tutorial! How you change the Folder look and keep your object manager tidy and clean ? Is it a plugin ?
It's a null object and you can change the icon of these to whatever you want )

@@StepanHKA How do you convert the material to the redshift? i tried to use demensiva model but i can't import the material even use fbx or obj file.
Could this be done in Octane?
Hello, I bought the Gobo pack and I don't understand several things...
Why are your images in .exr and mine in .jpg?
When I import the Gobo texture on a light, it doesn't work. Can you help me please :) ?
Have a nice day !
Absolutely I can help lets connect over Discord?
@@StepanHKA Of course! Should I go directly to your discord server or add you personally?
May I know?
I've been using c4d for years and I still struggle every time I open it. 3d is a pain in the arse and a colossal time suck.
Many thanks for this sharing
You're very welcome
