Great video. A metal mallot is a bit improvement for when on hard standing or alternatively drill in pegs. I used to us Rubber one and took ages to hammer in if the ground was hard.

great vid thanks for help. I have this awning used it once but have now discovered I was putting up wrong. before any pegging I put the pole in and took absolute age to get any level or shape right. peg close to van first then front then poles. do you find lack of pegging places in skirt around bottom. was windy when had mine up and wind blowing under it. also I think I will get some limpits for attaching to van as no vertical poles. I will use first trip out this year and hope I can put up better this time cos light and easy to pack.

andy's roadtrips glad we could be of some assistance. We find it’s easier to peg the ones closest to van before pegging out the front section.
