Absurd logic here from Shadi. Some points to flag:
    - it’s not just the president who makes foreign policy as he knows better than anyone. The key pillars of the foreign policy largely remain the same - the whole democrsfic administration has a large part to play. To say the VP of the administration is not complicit in policy is a strange thought. Especially in recent times when Biden has largely been senile and Harris is more or less the person in charge.
    - sure, trump might continue to same, change it…however, the Biden-Harris administration has actually supported the genocide in every way imaginable over the last year. So it’s not so much of a question mark as to what they will do - they have already shown you.
    - if Muslims still continue to support Harris after all that has happened then the Democratic Party will make the assessment that these people are completely expendable. Despite us (Democratic Party) doing the worst, they still come and vote for us. All leverage would then be lost for good.
    - if they must, Muslims can go and vote for Jill Stien and register than as a protest vote rather than voting for democrats again.
    - is there no shame whatsoever left for people still to be advocating to vote for Harris? It’s like an abused wife still showing up to support her abusive husband despite repeatedly being battered. “We want to be seen, we want to be heard”…sounds totally pathetic

I’m hearing “ Harris is not listening to Muslim voters” - I wonder if it goes beyond listening to something akin to the Democratic Party having “ dehumanized” Arab- Muslims. The choice is going for scraps which is what “ atleast trump mentions us” is where the dialogue has dwindled down to.
Would one rather speak to a party that has dehumanized us vs one that simply doesn’t like us ?
    Aweful choices.

The unique thing about American muslim and arab voters is they only think about their religion and not really human rights. There are big human right issues in Yemen, sudan yet you want to think is Gaza . I get it if Palestinians and Lebanese are affected but y Pakistanis other than they think of gazans as fellow muslims and nothing more. Why don't you think about ukrainians than or something else?

Human rights in the cult is a oxymoron

Ukrainians are not being dehumanized. That’s why it’s necessary to show the mirror in Gaza. And Muslims definitely speak up against human rights across the spectrum. There are lively internal dialogues on reform. So your assessment is presumptive that nothing is being done about human rights in Arab Muslim nations. Pakistan for eg refused to support Saudi Arabia in its mission against Yemen. At a heavy price given how energy dependent it is on Saudi.

Saudis have killed 10x muslims in Yemen. Pretty sure muslims were not rallying against that. Kashmiri Hindus have been wiped out by muslims, no one cared. You see the pattern, if not we do.

That's not unique to American muslims...that's the muslim action plan in every open society. They use the open society's liberal parties and ideas to burrow in, in order to make it islamist eventually.

America is the main reason Palestine is suffering, but Muslims worldwide should also take up human rights issues of other communities. Only then they will speak up for you. What hollow brotherhood is this that you feel for Muslims at the other end of the world but not for your neighbors? Baffles me every time. This guy looked really hurt about Obama pointing out the need for reformation in Islam. That really tells you what's wrong. Uzair is certainly much brighter than this chap.

Both the speakers prefer forked tounge, double speak, hypocritical Democrats over straight talk and no gap between talk and action Republicans.🤦
The speakers are belivers of Taqiyya. From this perspective, there is a similarity between their belief system and Democrats. Hence, vote Democrats is the summary of the conversation.

These people have lost their identity to a religion that is 1000s of miles away from their homeland. They use foreign language, have foreign names, believe in one religious people, and have group think on a global level. What a shame...

It can be strength also. In India also, many Hindus have lost identity to Brahmavad, support food terrorism, and have stopped eating beef. Identity is a complex topic. Even Brahmavadis in the USA think about Brahmavadis in India.

Focus on your country mate, not sure how inciting Pakistani public in the name of Gaza will help with challenges Pakistan is facing in each and every aspect- looks like you are falling into Islamic ideology pitfall as well.

Shadi Hamid- don’t you think that by promoting democrats you are forgiving genocide?! You are sending a message that genocide is NOT a red line for you. Genocide did not make you change your political views and you just continue what you’ve been doing for all these years - support Democrats! How will anyone ever take muslims/arab/human rights conscious people seriously if they vote for Genocide?!!..
Why not 3rd party with eyes on the future to break the 2-party system?!
