@@Featsofgrace according to everything i saw and heard about AC I’m confident when i say that the multiplayer experience will easily surpass Elden Ring
It’s insane to me that my first Fromsoft game was an Armored Core game (Last Raven) and I NEVER even knew it until I found my old PSP Go system while looking through my Middle School stuff. It’s like I was always meant to be a Fromsoft fan years before playing their Souls games and getting into the PvP lol 😅
I’m completely open to switch and learn a new combat system, mechanics, and everything new that AC has for it if it turns out to be as great as we hope it is. So far the trailer and gameplay make it worth looking into to so I’m willing to try it out
I feel like it's got that smoothness in movement and boosting that 4 had when I seen it quick turn I freaked out and It to me looks like they lowered the flight ceiling and reduced the overall boost speed but in a way that doesn't feel slow to like ac 5 but more along the lines of last raven or 3 with smooth ac 4 and movement with a sprinkle of ac 5s extra leg features bit in a much better form and fashion
The old game are still very solid games by themselves, if someone wants to try them I don't think it's a bad idea honestly. Just temper your expectations.
In the original games, the tank legs were the only ones who could use back mounted cannons while moving. They also could carry by far more weaponry without being overloaded. Drawback was that you couldn't fly worth crap.
I'm not touching this unless I can be the PVP equivalent of an unscaled bullgoat powerstanced giant crusher light rolling my way through NG Limgrave. - Average redditor.
They did that for Elden Ring, though it was Hudless again if memory serves. Idk if SGF has a big enough of a timeslot for that, I'm expecting from to drop the gameplay showcase at a random date between may and july with little to no connection to any larger gaming event.
I'm hoping to get to experience the PvP with this one since I didn't really get to with the previous titles. I didn't have any friends that actually played the games, so I could only settle in with strangers around AC V time ish but ended a little abruptly due to hardware issues with the console I was playing it on.
0:52 oddly enough, the lighweight quadlegs in 4th gen, Duskaror. were the fastest legs with the cost of being the least energy efficient, being more suited for ground movement. Even stranger is those legs also had the best "aerodynamics" hidden stat despite being so costly and not suitable for long duraiton flight.
I hadn't played an Armored Core game before but I emulated AC3 last week and honestly my perspective's changed a bit. The combat itself is fun but to be frank the missions are kinda dogass, the environments too but thats to be expected. The garage and shop juggle was also not very streamlined. I'm glad I played it though since it gives me perspective to how those games play and what I want for 6. Although it IS a 20 year old game and there's of course been the whole AC4 and 5 generations in between, so it's like not that much perspective. Though there is one facet of it that I dont like that I expect to return: being able to go 20k in debt in a successful mission. Okay it makes you think about cost efficiency blahblah, but I kinda want to shoot my load at everything and is 500 gatling rounds really supposed to be as expensive as an entire FCS module? At least arena combat is free. I ignored it for the first half of the game, but then went from last place to mid C-tier in one sitting until I stopped winning in 1-3 tries.
Man, I can’t wait to become an armored core pvp nerd
Let’s hope it’s actually good tho

I'm going to predict that the main meta will be dual rifles sustained damage builds just like in AC4.

Quads could use back cannons while moving as well, but tanks were the only ones that could use them while in the air.
Until you have Human+

Just a minor wish is to have Nineball or Nineball Seraph in AC6 as a secret boss
The boss with the orbital missiles at the end, according to some, resembles Nineball.
I'm craving to have so ACTUAL GAMEPLAY, like 30 Min of uncut footage
I suspect they'll do the 15 minute gameplay thing they did for elden ring at the summer game fest again
They did that for Elden Ring, though it was Hudless again if memory serves.
Idk if SGF has a big enough of a timeslot for that, I'm expecting from to drop the gameplay showcase at a random date between may and july with little to no connection to any larger gaming event.
I just hope it will have a Moonlight Greatsword again like some previous armored core had.
don't forget Karasawa
If possible, I want them to put the FINGER back.
Of course it will
I like the title because I’ve been wanting to nerd out with my friends about AC in general but most of them dont play or know much about the games
Never played AC, but I think I’m leaning towards a lighter faster build but idk if that’s good

I tried AC Last Raven so I can't say AC6 will be my first 😢
I feel lucky to have this as my first AC game
Love mech games. Looking forward to trying this flavour

What exactly was the meaning of "mouse is limited by turning speed"? At around 9:20
