If you're looking for more games like this, I recommend Last Bronx from Sega. It competed with Soul Edge in the arcades back in the 90s but unlike Soul Edge it never got a sequel. It was later ported to Saturn and PC. The game has some really cool character design, music and 2D animated sequences for intro and character endings in the ports.
Mhhhh, now this is some Saturday Morning Scrublords level stuff Also Bilstein is kinda funny to me. The Nightmare stand in, looks like Link in the Ancient set from BotW, and shares a name with a German shock absorber company.
As bizarre as the aliens are in this game, I would gladly take ugly, confusing but diverse alien designs over the endless swarm of human-with-blank designs designs they pump out these days.
The fact that star Gladiator is gonna be in the capcom fighting game collection volume 2 next year I believe or maybe it's in the first one either way it is a surprise that capcom is acknowledging this game again.

@MrDarksol I mean, granted, it was a sequel & back then, it's not like they were super upgraded in graphics, so getting the first game confused with the sequel is completely fair.

They should've tied this into DarkStalkers. They could have included Pyron as a secret boss.
