Thank you for including more useful information in the description! I am trying to gain skills in this field and grasping the role of a UX Researcher. Thank you for your video! I’m from Seattle too 😊

Thank you for this sneak peek into the UX researcher's daily life! I've recently discovered this field and now I'm considering the possibility of the transition from the academic research on disability rights and academic writing coaching. I'm interested in accessibility, diversity, and inclusion in the UX. The thing is that I'm interested in research specifically, whereas the design part doesn't seem attractive to me and I'm absolutely horrible at anything that requires a sense of aesthetic. Hence, I'm confused whether I have any perspectives in the UX with my background. Thanks again for your great content!

Love the insight you gave for UX Research😀 I am from healthcare and am hoping to get into UX Design or Research as well, and even better if its a health care company. How do you do data analysis for you qualitative research when you have like around 50 participants?

Thank you for the support! For qualitative data analysis, my typical process is transcribing> code > affinity map. Here is a resource article from NNGroup that might be helpful for you: www.nngroup.com/articles/thematic-analysis/

Hi Montez, I'm glad my video is helpful! You are doing the right thing to focus on your portfolio and projects. I encourage you to keep networking, ask for referrals, and highlight your strengths coming from a marketing background such as storytelling, and business thinking besides your research capabilities. Best of luck in your career transition!!

Love this video! Do you store your research data on Excel? I'm struggling to find a solution at the moment

Thank you! I use Miro for affinity mapping, User Testing for video clips, and Excel for notes. It depends on what purpose you want to store your data, but these are the tools I use daily. I hope this helps!

Question: do UX designers actually work or do they just have meetings about the weekly schedule and "reaching out" to people all day?
