    Hi Nicole,
    Thank you for making this video! I am just starting to really learn about UX research and I think it may be a good fit for me. Since I don't have very much experience in this field your recommendations for getting started came at the perfect time. Thanks so much!

    Thanks for sharing! I also have a degree in Anthropology and did a UX bootcamp. I just finished my portfolio and I'm looking for work. I don't feel very confident. Your story is inspiring and I hope I can land a position by the end of this year.

    Thanks for creating this Nicole! I love your recommendation to start doing research ASAP, even if you don't feel like you're an expert yet. I'd love to learn more about your experience finding and working with your mentor if you create another video!

    This is soooo inspiring and helpful. I’m looking into UX Research and I have a question for you. Is there or do you recommend any specific courses to take online?. Of course learn about the basics of UXR. Thanks 😊

      Hey Shonda! I listed a few courses I've taken in the description. NN/g is another group to consider, as they are an industry leader :)

    Hey Nicole, would you say going from Customer Service Rep at a UX employing tech company a good way to break into UX Research? CSR at such a firm may deal with collection of Reports and Feedback of issues Web & UI, both which form a bulk of focus of UX & research, to improve them. It sounds like retroactive UXR

    • @nicolehunt6941
      @nicolehunt6941  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jaleel! I think I'd need to know more about your current role and educational background to know for sure. That being said, I'd recommend to start learning and doing UX research now to get started!

    • @JaleelBeig
      @JaleelBeig 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm from Graphic Design bg, a generalist, but I've chosen to specialise in Product Design recently. Most likely I'm finalizing UI design, however since I've not yet begun my journey, i did not to want close other UX pathways immediately. Also i would like to have a basic knowledge of closely related UX roles like Writer or Researcher, somewhere down the line to assist with upward career trajectory. I'm not opposed to an internship in what I've previously stated if that would help me gain relevant knowledge.
