This is Kimball in Salt Lake City, Utah. I've been watching you and Beto for a couple of years. Thanks for all you do, and I always find a reason to come back to you.
I built a wooden stand to hold my Digitakt. Real simple works great. I’m thinking of getting a Chroma Console. The only thing holding me back is I recently got a HX Stomp XL. It has an effect called Retro Reel that gets a nice warble and distorts when you saturate it. I haven’t used it for a live show but I’m pretty comfortable with it and the only area where it doesn’t feel right is delays. Some of them are great but they don’t react like my Diamond Memory Lane 2. Any way, always like your videos. Thanks
Shout out to the Old Blood Noise Endevours Dark Light too. Two of my favourite OBNE pedals, Dark Star and Sunlight, in one pedal - with many mono/stereo routing options. And it's might be 2024s best looking pedal yet too. Another great release was the upgrade to Walrus Audio Monument, Monumental - because it brings stereo. And there aren't enough stereo analogue tremelo pedals. It's often the last pedal in the chain, and often full wet or nearly full, so I don't really want a digital tremelo pedal doing ADC and DAC on everything again. Just at the last stage before a nice amp.
Hi. Watching from London. Just emerging from a ‘guitar wilderness’ period, trying to skill up and reassemble my decommissioned guitar set up, so I’m enjoying seeing what’s on people’s boards these days and magpie-ing riffs and licks off guitarists who play better than me :)
@Rhett Shull, check out in your area, odds are there is a 3d printing group on the usual social medias. You could probably find someone local to quickly design and build. If you want to get a 3d printer, the Bambu series are quite turn key but designing your own stuff can be a steep learning curve.
Aclam is cool; I spoke with someone there the last time I was in Barcelona (where they're located; unfortunately I don't remember his name...). Good people doing good stuff in an unusual place. One of their main products is, as you mentioned, an innovative pedal attachment system. It's been knocked off, but theirs is still better.
I have done similar in DAW for a while now with MidSide and The Drop plugins. Not quite the same and liked they have come out with pedal that does this.
On the subject of cool guitar stores, if your ever in Des Moines, make sure to check out Professional Music Center, the guitar selection is meh (good for iowa though) but the store is pretty vibe-y.
as a beginner trying to teach myself I'm very interested about your talk love to hear your point of veiw. It's not that I'm opposed to a teacher I've looked for one but there don't seem to be any around so I'm trying to teach myself via TH-cam.
1:20:16 I wouldn’t want to play with a pick, but on a bass my poor tender fingies would get blisters with those thick strings! One of the reasons why bass scares me. That and the fact I can’t read bass clef.
Yeah, I don’t know anything else on TH-cam. It’s all that way all the time, except on unpopular videos that aren’t worth monetizing. But for what I’m paying? Still a good deal. 😅
Hey Rhett: a small but IMO vital issue of semantics. Could you please stop using the word "best" to describe subjective preferences? Not just you but it seems the entire world has somehow caught the "best" disease, making it now the most meaningless, incorrectly applied and overused word in the English language. There can be no such thing as a "best" pedal. Just like there can be no such thing as a best pair of sneakers, best pizza or hamburger or car. Please help to correct this disease and simply use the word "favorite" any time you want to use the word "best". I know you get this....Cheers man

I'm curious as to who Beto is? Could you be talking about Rick Beato or is there a Beto person I should be watching?? 🤔

I love OBNE, and have several of their CRAZY Pedals... and the Beam Splitter will be my next acquisition. Thanks, Rhett! 🐺
Beam Splitter into Chroma Console is my new jam.

Thank you Rhett. Your videos have become home for guitar/pedal/amp enthusiasts. Love the theory and writing material as well.

Dan Steinhart was raving about Walt Grace Vintage in Miami, which seems like heaven for you. It's classic guitar and classic car
Love LaBella flats for bass. Put them on my Hofner Contemporary Violin Bass. Amazing sound and feel.

Props from Vienna Rhett. Love your content.

💚 🥰 Thank you!
Hey! Maybe you can "clone" your Capi inside an TONE X One (or two) and run a WDW configuration to use the three channels. Cool sounds! 👍🏽
Aclam rocks, their pedal boards are cool if you're not fond of hook/loop. The pedals are held on by side brackets that attach to the board's rails.
💚💚 Thanks!!!
Missed the live..my 3 new and faves this year...1. Strymon Ultraviolet...2. Gamechanger Bigsby pedal 3. Tonex capture
Oh...Las Vegas
The Bigsby is awesome on keys, especially well sampled string patches.
Thinking that beam splitter is coming next..I gotta stop buying everything I like
I've been using the Punchline for a while now, and it rips! I use it for both guitar and bass.
Love my chroma...definitely a keeper
Yes, more live streams (even though I can't watch most of them live from Vienna).
Man that base tone was sounding good! What amp on the Axe fx?
Love from Halifax NS!
This made me miss flats - they're going back on one of my P-basses!
Watching from Prague, Czech Republic, Europe
I have done similar in DAW for a while now with MidSide and The Drop plugins. Not quite the same and liked they have come out with pedal that does this.
Warner Robins Ga. Yup. Right south of you.
That Punchline sounds soooo good.
Also, I wonder how it'd sound through heavily picked, aggressive music situation with P or Jazz bass. I imagine it'd still rip.
Good information as always. Thanks!!
Cheers. Steve from UK.

The worst thing you can do if you're learning is watch pedal videos.
Did someone tell Rhett about the Marcus Deluxe vertical pedal boards in the chat? I'm watching the recording!
Sasha Ivantic uses a nice little pedal prop
The light speed is based on a Timmy which is a ts circuit, sorry for interrupting now back to the show lol 😂

That and the fact I can’t read bass clef.
@RhettShull how come you decided to use a SD1 over your SM7B for your vocal?
David from Michigan
Hi, this is Jean from France

Desktop pedal stand? Amazon has a product called a Flex Tray.
The Univibe that guy makes in South America
Is the Novo Solis an f1 or m1... inquiring minds want to know

I fabricated all my stands and bases and shelves...so much trash to treasure and then to geek out making it work.
J5 laptop stand is great
@rhettshull 21:24 sounds straight out of The Man Who Stepped into Yesterday by Phish

2 pieces of wood would be a great pedal stand.
Scott from anniston al.
What about the lark?

Reason for sudden ground hum = Retrograde Mercury!...

Too many commercial breaks, too close together. I give up.

Again it’s… the HX Stomp 😂
