One thing I always though Magic could use is music.
There never really was any ost to keep me in, it's a big part of any media for me.
And I have to say, this piece in the video is a treat to start with.

I've listened to it a bit these years.
The main theme itself is really captivating.
I never played it sadly, but I've been hoping for more music like it or an evolution of it for a while now.
Knavenformed i love it, the eldritch moon and planeswalker origin themes are all so great and fitting, gave it such a great atmosphere.
It can happen in arena, maybe its off of their focus atm.
Arena's OST is pretty good imo.

lovetownsend word of advice planeswalkers are flashy and cool but more often than not your better putting something else like a creature in. The best planeswalkers are the ones that protect themselves with creatures or by killing things.
Also ignore their ultimates-it’s not happening
@@jj0493 But also dont for get that some Plainswalkers can Fill out your deck and really help out those decks if they can be used to the best of there ability Take the New Ajani Plainswalker shown in the War of the spark set that a few copies might be awesome in a G/W cat deck

To specify, the reason to include a planeswalker in your deck should not be because of their ult.
That was my first deck as well! There was some pretty cool cats in an expansion that came out a while ago called Amonkhet. I'd definitely look into some AmonCats if you haven't already!

Story, mostly. The three main characters here are Link, Zelda, and Ganon... I mean Gideon, Liliana, and Bolas.
Well the leaked Chad is from the War of the Spark Mythic set with the full-art planeswalkers and therefore is mythic. I don't think he is mythic in the set.
Who said that Ugin isn't a mythic?
@@jacobwestfahl1510 How many loyalty abilities of the new Chad have? That determines rarity. If 1, it's uncommon, 2 means rare and all 3 means mythic.

Guess hoard mode on for most investors as this is the first of its kind and made a damn huge impression on everyone.
I bet the story goes, the last surviving planeswalkers manage to kill bolas...who had acumulating spark after spark like a bag of M&M´s...and in his final act of menace, he rips open a permanent portal to new Phyrexia!!!! BOOOM!
I will honestly be surprised if they kill kill bolas. Defeated for sure, but dead? No. Im thinking he might go the Ugin route and die without dieing.

My bet's that they're either a new Planeswalker entirely or Elspeth. For Ashiok they're too feminine, as for Emrakul, Emrakul once was an Angel that doesn't look anything like the wanderer, look up Shrine of the Forsaken Gods.
Imortuos Emrakul herself isn’t Emeria though. Emeria was an angelic personification of Emrakul that the inhabitants of Zendikar thought up. Their view of Emrakul just slowly changed over the 1000’s of years she was locked up

@@cuttlefish6839 Dude they literally put out a 3 mana Teferi who denies your opponent instant speed casting, WotC is so off the deep end with ruining the meta and not banning anything it's not even funny anymore.
Cuttlefish I think mono red is not the issue. Esper Turbofog, Mono-blue, and 4-color Gates are way more powerful and prevalent than mono red.
You guys made a video explaining planeswalkers, but don't bother saying what loyalty abilities are/how they work.
I'm kind of disappointed, since I was hoping to learn from this video.

Lol, make a 1/1 for 3 mana isn't aggressive, stop playing best of 1, it's a bad format that's messing with your perception of the game. Red isn't "busted" in best of 3.

Seriously hoping that Bolas just succeeds and we go back to some self-contained stories mostly based on the planes we visit, rather than telling the story of Mary Sue Planeswalkers who jump across the multiverse and claim to fix things. I'm not sure I can stomach much more of the Gatewatch.
Also, Bolas is awesome and magnificent and deserves to win.
I mean sure everything in the game is a mechanic, but really, walkers are a theme in this set not a mechanic, much Like this vedeo opens up stating ...

TBH this didn't really go through actually using any of the mechanics. If I were a new player, I'd still have no idea how they work.
Yea, they said nothing about activating their abilities (when they can do it, how many per turn, what happens if walker has no counters etc)
Luckily Tibalt is better than the last one
