@@cyberwolfy37 I'm going to be honest, with vorinclexes whole "survival of the fittest" thing, if that happened it would be AMAZING, once and for all proving to vorinclex, in his last moments, that compleation is not perfection. Seeing as its been years since we saw dreadmaw, and not that long since we saw vorinclex, dreadmaw only needs to have grown one point of toughness stronger to straight up canonically do this too.
The hero we never though we would need in this dire time. Colossal Dreadmaw getting its spark is exactly what this story needed. Feels good man.

From analyzing the comments I’ve gathered two things. Wizards can make an insane amount of money if they print two things:
1: a colossal dreadmaw planeswalker
2: a cookie colossal team up

Weird how all this starts to go down the moment Bolas loses his spark. I think he was the biggest threat to Elesh Norn's plans and with him out of the picture she had no one to stop her. Here's to hoping the Dragon Twins make a return.
Let's hope only one of the dragon twins comes back. I like some of his cards but let's keep it real we really don't need Bolas finding a way to balls this one up.
It's not weird at all. Norn needed the planar bridge to get the seed for their own version of the Kaldheim world tree. Tezzeret was only free to help the Phyrexians do this via the Planar Bridge once he no longer had to serve Bolas. Nothing to do with Bolas stopping Norn's plans and everything to do with who controlled Tezzeret.
I do hope they make a return. I can't imagine Ugin will want to be with Bolas as his plane (Tarkir) is being compleated.

Despite that fact, we've already gotten a fairly extensive preview of the next set when ONE has barely had time to breathe or have its impact on the game understood to any meaningful degree.

We better hope Tyvar will mount Colossal Dreadmaw and bodies Elesh Norn how he did Tibalt.
@GRIMHOOD99 They didn't think that the deaths of billions of people and the possible complete destruction of the Blind Eternities were worth it if there was a chance of defeating New Phyrexia through other methods, which there probably was, since I doubt that the endgame of this set is "Elesh Norn compleats the entire multiverse." Honestly, I cannot blame them.

Bolas and Ugin as a new single planeswalker card, since we're doing team ups apparently.
Well Bolas was the one responsible for giving Tezzeret his immunity to Phyresis so for that reason alone I see him having relevance again in the plot as a 'temporary ally' in exchange for his freedom and possible return of his spark maybe somehow.
Bolas poses a very similar threat to phyrexia though, just with phyrexia you have the benefit of essentially being dead and your will living on for phyrexia.

For an event set that marks the end of the Phyrexian Arc, I find very anticlimatic to recycle previous cinematics...
The hope is that this is label as a teaser trailer, the real trailer should have new stuff going on. Unless they are tying to save money and being so cheap that they handicap their marketing
This is just the teaser, the official (nonteaser) will hopefully be more grand and original.

It's already over. Elspeth comes back as an angel and kills all the Praetors. Then Teferi comes back and kills all the Phyrexians on Phyrexia. Then Wrenn kills all the Phyrexians everywhere else.
From the preview of small amount of cards on it’s website, it might be only one planeswalker that would stop this madness, or have it consume all. The one who these monstrosities form her nightmares: espleth. The very being who took the Cylex in ‘All will be one’, and “walked” away with it while it was activating.
I've seen the team-up previews. We better get Teferi and Gingerbrute.

I love that the Phyrexian event is coming at the same time with the Smite crossover. I've known MtG for almost 30 years but never got really deep into the lore, but I'm trying to catch up and I'm loving it.
