Rick Wakeman said in an interview, and I'm paraphrasing, that Yes will probably be around after all of the original members are gone. Different musicians but still Yes. I nominate The Band Geeks.

I thought that for the first couple of years I knew of them- Fragile and the the mind blowing Close to the Edge. In the summer of 1974, the band came to a ‘big city’ fairly close by. When I got to the show, I realized I wasn’t alone! Not by a long shot! And everyone around me knew ALL the lyrics to every song! Well, except for “Tales…”. Then, Rick didn’t know it all that well, either. It was at my first live Yes show that I heard about the first two albums. They were seriously difficult to obtain as that city became a HUGE Yes town. It was a blessing and a curse because before that show, I assumed I was the band’s only fan, afterwords, I had to share them- which made me feel like I belonged to a movement- but lost my superiority complex, without peer, as their ONLY fan.

There is a reason nobody tries to cover these songs. The songs were created by 5 of the most talented musicians of the era, or any era. Nailing it blows my mind! In fact, dare I say it, your version has just enough of a "harder" feel to it that is gives it a bit more energy (as if that is possible) without taking away any of the beauty of this song. One of the most beautiful songs ever written and performed. Even grumpy C Squire (who I have met) would have loved it.
The 12 string was perfectly tuned and the person playing it was a killer axe man...Anyone playing YES is an angel to me...THE greatest prog band... The tempo was PERFECT!
I really do sincerely hope that all of you cherish and appreciate this wonderful and unique moment that each one of you have been able to cross paths and share this amazingly rare opportunity to play these powerful pieces of musical masterpieces together. It’s an incredibly rare and special thing for talented and passionate musicians who share the same appreciation for a certain genre of music. Thank you so very very much for sharing your work with the world!!
It's the best cover of a prog classic song I've heard with the exception of Awaken by Todmobile featuring Jon Anderson on vocals. Awaken actually improves on the original, though, while this is a masterful copy. Although they all nail their parts, the guitarist is the MVP.
THAT is how it's done! I was fortunate in my life to have seen this song played live for 1980 Drama tour, 1984 90125 tour, 1989 ABWH tour, 1991 Union tour, 1999 Ladder tour, and finally at Madison Square Garden in 2004 for the 35th Anniversary tour, where it received a 5 minute long standing ovation. This is a special song, one might say immersive and transcendent. It takes you on a journey and reminds you each time of the immense power of music. I salute this ensemble who have done this song the justice it deserves and recognize their outstanding talents. I doubt Jon Anderson himself could find a single flaw in that performance. So glad the YT algorithm treated me to this today!

My dad was gone in ‘71. My father and mother gave my brothers and I guitar lessons. Mom bought me (to share, as we didn’t have much) a Silvertone acoustic guitar (which, among others, I really wish I still had) and I used to pick notes along with this great song! Fairly loudly, I may add. Mom was so cool. My brothers, myself and & a couple of friends formed a band. We covered (~) Yes, Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, James Gang & ZZ Top tunes. I listened to CTTE so many times, I lost count many many years ago. This song is timeless. Thank you Band Geeks. Excellent cover!

The song I loved the most until they wrote Awaken. Greatest crescendos they ever wrote. Wakeman's Mellotron orchestrations were phenominal and the Taurus bass pedals just killed it.Saw this with the classic lineup many many times You people did a a wonderful job as always. Thank you!
Making a cover of YES is like telling everyone, "Yeah, we are some of the best musicians in the world," but after covering the complete Close to the Edge album, there's no need to say anything more. You are magnificent!

Beautiful job by the guitarist at 4:47 playing that emotional Leslie keyboard solo with octaves on the guitar. This is actually the way I wish Yes played it live but they never played it like this. Thank you for rocking it, amazing job and I am super grateful! After I wrote this I see that it's the "most replayed" part of the video which is saying a lot!

Nothing I don't absolutely LOVE about this! Bringing me back to being enveloped in beautiful melodic rhythms & sounds at The Spectrum in Philly. The fist bump # 9:26 between Andy & Richie proves how much you guys love it as well! Ann Marie & all of you are OUTSTANDING!!!
Cool clones! Even if Ann Marie (still a valiant singer) cannot reach the top of the Anderson of the golden age (but who can?), you are much better than the current "Yes". With amazed admiration, Stefano. Fantastici cloni!
I’ve been a progressive rock enthusiast for 40 years. I could flip a coin between Yes and Genesis as my all time favorite band. I’ve seen Genesis many times but I have never seen Yes live. This is the closest I will ever get. Thank you for bringing these amazing songs back to life. It’s surreal seeing you guys killing it playing these complicated arrangements so well. I didn’t think it was possible so I never searched for Yes covers. I was wrong. Based on a degree of difficulty this is easily the best cover I have ever heard.
I saw Genesis on the Selling England tour and in 1977 just before Steve Hackett left. While I have very few memories of the earlier concert, unfortunately, I have many moments from the '77 show burned into my memory. On the other hand, I've seen Yes over a dozen times from every decade of the past 50 years. Every show was fantastic and the audience were always leaping to their feet for standing ovations because the songs and the level of playing were so incredible. The only show that wasn't quite up to par was the last one I saw in 2014. Although Chris Squire was fantastic as usual and the set list consisted of The Yes Album, CTT.E, and GFTO, the absence of Jon Anderson kept it from being transcendent. Now that Squire is gone, I haven't seen them again. High point: In 1976 at a Detroit show, Jon smiled and nodded at me in the first row as I was applauding his harp solo during Ritual. Low point: In July of 1975, i was drunk from drinking wine in the hot sun all day while watching an outdoor festival that included Yes, Peter Frampton and Dave Mason. The crowd was huge, I caught one of the Frisbees that were zipping overhead all day and, without hesitation, flung it towards the stage. To my horror, I watched as it was lifted by a gust of wind and traveled much farther than I intended. In slow motion, I saw the Frisbee hit Steve Howe in the arm while he played acoustic guitar during his solo spot. The entire audience of over 100,000 booed me in unison.
Superlative. Simply fantastic musicianship. Blown away. The original Yes bandmates should be smiling down on this immaculate cover. Especially Chris Squire.

Exceptional … thanks for a walk down memory lane !!! 😎
Excellent cover...
Joyful! Triumphant! I've loved YES for decades and they ROCK!
THANK YOU!
I best cover that i’ve ever seen.
Agreed. Although I also love Awaken by Todmobile with Jon Anderson.
This rendition gives me chills on every inch of my body..I've been listening to and watching Yes since 1972, you guys are just amazing!! No words, Thank you..
I love Ann Marie singing. And playing and ... everything. 💖🌷🙏
Kisses from Brazil 😙
Nothing I don't absolutely LOVE about this! Bringing me back to being enveloped in beautiful melodic rhythms & sounds at The Spectrum in Philly. The fist bump # 9:26 between Andy & Richie proves how much you guys love it as well! Ann Marie & all of you are OUTSTANDING!!!
Cool clones! Even if Ann Marie (still a valiant singer) cannot reach the top of the Anderson of the golden age (but who can?), you are much better than the current "Yes". With amazed admiration, Stefano.
Fantastici cloni!
As a YES fan, you definitely did this justice
09:25 the fist bump says it all about the rhythm section timing in that previous segment. Sublime throughout. I'm blown away - as usual!
Tonight in Rochester 💚🎸
THAT MADE ME CRY!😭😭😭❤️🙏🏼 That was a very special and also poignant part in my life at the time.
RIP Alan White. I'm sure he would be proud of these guys.
Superlative. Simply fantastic musicianship. Blown away. The original Yes bandmates should be smiling down on this immaculate cover. Especially Chris Squire.
