@@MRRANDOM1 No worries 👍 I like to do work on my motorbike as well but I am no pro! I am not keen in many motorbike mechanics where I live in the UK, don't take me wrong, there are very good motorbike mechanics but sadly there are way too many cowboys! 😤😤 I got mugged a few times in the past and since then I have been learning through videos like yours and others and I do enjoy it! 😀 Cheers.
just so you know bro the one tab bends inwards to the clutch basket and the other one bends outwards over the nut thats what keeps it from backing off Just thought to toss that in there to help out.. and you're missin one of your springs and 10mm bolts on your clutch basket.good video brutha
Thanks for sharing the tips. that keeper is hard to bend lol I ended up breaking off a 10mm bolt in the clutch basket I have a back up I will eventually replace it. Gotta get back to riding
@@MRRANDOM1 yesiiir I totally agree they can be a real prize. Sorry about your unfortunate with the 10mm. My problem is my basket and cage is trashed and wont disengage my clutch.
Its going happen gaging that thing u said wad a washer is a lock washer post have taps they were broke off y this happen u need the to bend around the bolt so it don't come loose
I have a 92 yz 250 and the clutch is completely loose like when I pull it there’s no resistance and the cable is fine so you think something similar to the video could have happened or could it have been something else (I know a bit about bikes but I’ve never had this happen)
Hello I really need help I have a 2008 Honda Nighthawk 250 in my clutch was slipping so I changed the clutch in friction plates and I do a lot of work on motorcycles and I had the manual and made sure I put it all back right but the clutch will not engage in I just don’t know what’s wrong with it if you could help it would be very appreciated thank you
Make sure the clutch lever on the case is set it the correct position when installing the cable and that is gears inside the case are lined up to the pressure stem
I figured it out thanks so much I had the clutch basket both a little too tight in the clutch and friction were working together when they weren’t supposed to so when I loosened it just A hair it worked
Yo peace… nice work bro.. yeah lock that nut in.. super high idle, I’m sure you knew that tho.. I’m restoring 90’s 2 smokes having an issue the clutch want engage, did I miss something here?
Thanks for stopping by fam, im working on adjusting the carb now, I did rebuild it which was a first for me. hows the handle feel? make sure everything is lined up clutches and plates good and all washer in place also maybe adjust the tension on the cable. hope its an easy fix
Yo ya hurd meh 🙌🏼👊🏼

Nice work 👍 I would just like to point out that you should use a torque wrench to torque the bolts on the clutch basket 👍
Thanks I appreciate that tip 💯💯
