I bought the regular sunglass model and I got myself prescription transitional lenses from my optimist. They are far better in transition as its more sensitive to light and darker.
If you don't mind me asking, I have also purchased the sunglass. Type, before I found out there were actually transitions available and I have called ray band themselves and they do not have transition lenses that they can ship, I would have to buy a whole nother. Pair
@@bjsmindyou went to your opthamologist. If you don't mind what were the prices for the transitions, and do they still have the ray ban?D logo on them
@sofakinggood-fl1mq I did it online with an optometrist. They will no longer have the Ray-Ban logo unless you do it through LensCrafters and tell them you want the authentic Ray-Ban lenses
I want to get prescription lenses but the Ray Ban website says they do not support my prescription. I can’t find out if it is a limitation of the frame or just their lab. I wear Oakley Pitchman and the Meta frames seem no thinner. I looked at the Fuse site but I saw no listing for Meta Wayfarer replacement non prescription lenses. I figure if I can’t get the prescription I would get a clear lens that would allow me to use them inside and out. These things are pretty great.
Reach out to their customer service, Zach, I believe is their Rx guy and they will walk you through it. FUSE has an awesome customer service team. You can also try @freepresciptionlenses, Jigsaw will accommodate your Rx needs and help out in choosing the right one for you. 🤓
I do have the OG G-15, Rx XTRActive Brown with Silver Style Mirror and Rx Transitions Gen 8 Graphite green with Red Style Mirror. Sometimes, i pop in the Rx lenses from my Wayfarer Ease to the Ray-Ban Meta's too. They're XTRActive Gray with Green Style Mirror.
@@JAYCEREALM for the Rx lenses? Or the non Rx ones? You can get Rx and non-rx lenses from www.freeprescriptionlenses.com ask for Jigsaw. www.zoomerlenses.com they can do both Rx and non-rx as well, ask for Marco or Rudy www.fuselenses.com can custom cut your lens, you just have to tell them the size of your frames. Rosina or Alexandria can help you out. They do both Rx and non-rx lenses too.
Where do you order just the (non-prescription) lenses (I couldn't find just lenses on Ray Ban site). I tried their chat and they wanted to just have me return my glasses for a refund and then buy a different pair that were non-transition.
You can get third party lenses @fuselenses they have a lot of options as well. But if you want authentic Ray-Ban lenses, it should be via their website. Let me look at my other videos and then I will post a link here.
@@bjsmind Thanks! I just want to replace the transition lenses for non-transition ones. The clear lenses on these huge black frames make me look too dorky when I'm inside. Lol
If you want the original clear lenses from Ray-Ban, your option would be to return and then exchange them. But if you're okay with after market clear or blue light lenses, you can definitely buy one online and swap it out. Or you can send them your frame and they can install it for you.
Was thinking of these but they are NOT “smart” glasses at all. They are glorified bluetooth glasses with a camera. Real smart glasses show info on the lenses.

So if I buy meta ray ban wayfarers the polarised can I change the lenses to transition ? For like winter
Yes you can. But it will not be an original Ray-Ban lens because they do not sell them separately. It has to be aftermarket lenses.
Bravissimo👏👏👏
Grazie! 🤓☯️😎
What are you using to record this in PoV?
