Can you download offline maps and routes in a large area? I've heard it doesnt do well if you are going to areas without cell service, when switching from online to offline mode, but that is an old video. What is our experience with riding it through cell dead zones?
I’m going to have to say I’m not sure, but I would hope you are able to “offline” some maps by downloading them to your device. If you can find the answer and drop it in the comments here I’d be very interested to know? Thanks
Calimoto have said the will not be developing for Android Auto. Baring in mind Android is 70% of the market and the deluge of devides 'Carpuride/Chiggee' I give them 2 years tops.
Wow, that’s interesting, I’ve just been given a Beta app to try called BluCap go. It’s similar to Cali and they plan an Android release in the future. I’ll post a video soon.
I have the premium version, but I only get a map and directional arrows. Is there a setting I'm missing that allows the maps to have street names and the app to operate like a proper map app while navigating/riding? Cheers.
Oh strange, I'm looking at the app now and when planning a route I can see road names. Not sure about when navigating though. (Will test it next time I'm out and about) Best bet is to contact their customer service team (I am no expert just liked the app so made a video about it)
Really? I used it for a short time in Spain and it found some great roads. However I only used it for a handful of rides and it may not have been long enough to bottom out any issues. Thanks for watching and helping other subscribers to be informed of your issue. Can you share more of the things that are wrong with it so others can see the pitfalls?
I love Calimoto! Used the round trip function a few times now and it’s always a great ride! Great video Sweet Triple! Nice to see your face too!
Thanks mate. It’s appreciated!
Thank you very much for clear & simple description of the app. Your voice is brilliant ! .
No problem mate. It’s the expensive mic that does it haha!
🚨I was hoping for a review of the app and how to use it to plan a trip.
Mate it’s super easy and there’s other tutorials on TH-cam I’m sure.

If it is free fine.
Unfortunately it is not free. Think you can do a free trial though
This app really stinks and the customer service is terrible. I wouldn't waste a penny after the trial ends!
