I could imagine companies selling cases like this for consoles. I’ve seen companies that sell shells for nintendo switches and it comes with everything you need to install it yourself. This is like a more high end version of that. I feel like there definitely could be a market for that.
@@rachelcookie321 They don't because the corporations are waiting to sue them into oblivion, it took ages and lots of money for the bigger names like DBrand and skinit to get permission to sell covers. what amazes me most about you is not so much the ability to design and build, but the incredible sense of design, equal to or superior to famous brands.
The dbrand stuff is great, I just got the classic grey for that PS1 nostalgia, one thing to note is the adhesive covers are a bit difficult to install(well) if you, like me, lack steady hands
Of course if you are willing to pay your ps5 a lot more expensive. See when they choose a design, they look at what will be effective, while being able to get lots of materials for low price. In order to have the cheapest console so that the MAJORITY of people can buy it. See the fact that you may be able to afford a more expensive ps5 just for the look doesn't mean the other part of the world can. And the goal of Sony is to sell the most console. That's why you don't get those high end design on consoles. See there is always compromise. Thats why apple computers are very beautiful but a lot less powerful that a computer for the same price

@@kristoffer9400 they have released a ps5
This looks absolutely amazing and your video made my day. Looking at the final result at 9:54, if I didn't know it was a PS5, I'd mistake it for an Hi-Fi DAC/Amp or AV receiver. Incredible work, really.
I wish we could buy this and others DIY's as 'ready-to-build' packages :D with every thing pre cut and 100% ready for assembly.

Honestly, that's what I expected the sponsored part of the video to be when he began his segue. I thought he was going to say he'd partnered with dbrand to release a conversion kit to swap your PS5 internals into his custom-designed case.
You read my mind bro.
Even the dbrand integration was on point. How can this guy nail every video so perfectly?
This isn’t necessarily my style but it’s made me realise how I wish companies would make consoles that could fit in to the average house better. I don’t live in Mars colony, I don’t need this minimalist space design.

That carbon fibre flap used for on/off button was very clever and that hexagon cutouts looks damn cool😍🔥
what amazes me most about you is not so much the ability to design and build, but the incredible sense of design, equal to or superior to famous brands.

@bouytt guyt was thinking the same thing, other then that it's a great build

I hope technology eventually starts to take on this understated, material aesthetic.
Thats why apple computers are very beautiful but a lot less powerful that a computer for the same price
this needs to be in a museum.what a masterpiece of design you did man.
I really hope he shows this to Sony so that they can replicate his idea so that we can get ps5s like this.
@@imsentinelprime9279 ya atleast they can do special Edition or something with this design.

In my opinion, this is how consoles should be. It actually looks interesting and has some class. Of course, it’d probably raise the price since you’re working with potentially more expensive materials, but I like it better anyway. Incredible job!
