Alexey, thanks for posting this. Our driver's side regulator made loud popping and crackling noises recently, and the window was stuck down. I got home, watched your video, ordered a new regulator from Mopar parts, and just now got it installed! There were a few minor differences in my 2008 R/T (for example - there is some kind of electronic assembly that covers the lower left screw that holds the regulator to the door inner skin which has to be removed prior to getting the regulator in/out, and those screws were Torx, not 10mm hex), but nothing major. Thanks again for the effort to post & help the rest of us out!
I needed to replace my speakers, your video helped remove door panel. Just an FYI to just have shop install 6 speakers around this vehicle normal price $250-350 in labor. You saving people money posting videos like this, Thanks!
Thanks for video. One note, it's easy to get the lock rod off-- there's a square piece plastic on the back of the panel-- you slide it up and pull in off. This job is much easier if you can pull the whole door panel off and get it out of the way.

I did not realize how the whole assembly was designed. Your video shows the basic design (although mine is a little different) of the internal panel assembly. This will (hopefully) get me on the right track so to speak....lol.
Thanks for the video. Just replaced my son's regulator with some cheap Chinese knock off. Hope it last a couple of years. One item, the white clips that hold the window can be reached behind and pulled down without using a screw driver. $34 total repair thanks to amazon.
With the help of this vid my father in law and I got this done in about an hour. Thanks for taking time to make this. It seems like a lot of these cars have this problem. Must have been a design flaw.
Alexey, something to add to window management. Rather than blocks of wood I would suggest 2 inch clear plastic tape to hold the window in place. You know I love your work here I'm just adding suggestions to make work easier. It's strong and will do the job. It then becomes a one person job. Hopefully you see these suggestions in a good light..

You don't need to pull your switches out of the window panel. Just remove the panel and disconnect the switches when the panel is off the door. Also you don't need to remove the speaker. Just pull the panel cover out eaugh to slide the new regulater in and bolt it on. Remove the glass just drop the glass into the door and angle the glass and it will come out of the door and put the glass somewhere safe. When your ready to reinstall the glass Then slide the glass on a angle back into the door and line up the glass with the white clips and push down into the two holes in the glass. You will hear the clips snap into the holes in the glass when there secured. I did my 2009 Sebring by myself last Night. It took me little over a hour to do this job myself. The cost to do this repair was $65.00 the part was bought off eBay
Before replacing everything take motor off and if you can turn the gear for the motor and window goes up and down it’s the motor or Window switches. Takes far less time to replace those. Trouble shoot from easiest to hardest first.
what is the part number for the driver and passenger side front windows on a 2008 Dodge Avenger R/T? Also, is it 2-pin or 4-pin.. When I google it, I get all kinds of confusing information. Thanks!
+Bocman Sellsmore I bought this replacement from Chrysler dealership. Call you local Chrysler dealership parts department they will tell you witch part you need.
Great video. However, if you would have disconnected the entire wiring harness (yeah, the brackets are a pain) taking off the mounting panel would have been super easy! You would have been able to show the entire opening and everything would have been much clearer!
When replacing the regulator, can a person just slide off the new plastic clips and secure it on the window first. Then add the regulator back on to it?
doubt so because power windows regulator can't be repaired some people attempted to glue it it worked for coumple og weeks then failed in this case you will need to do thi labor all over again this lablor is more time consuming compare if you will purchase new power windows regulator intead of fixing or modifiing yours

Great to see the door broken down, and also the tools needed in case of having to go to the junkyard and just grab the motor like I do. However, your accent is TERRIBLE and I could barely tell what the proper NUMBER TOOLS to use because of that. Had to rewind like 50x....... Thanks again....
The bars need to be replaced the cable holds them together as a pair. If he is holding one regulator bar it's broken. Before you put him down saying Duhhhhhh learn how to do the job first...lol

I used 10mm ,20 torque and 25 torque mainly to take everything apart. Worked well.

it's large size flat screw driver...
the plastic pieces for the wiring you had to remove, it looked like a couple different kinds of crow bars

You didn't even show putting in the regulator and why the hell did you take the regulator bars off anyways when you don't need too. Duhhhhhhhhhh
