Thanks. For some reason about a week later the same thing happened on the passenger side. Not my car so I don't know what's going on/ Didn't fix the other side.
Ugh. I hope the does not happen to me. I've own my 08 avenger since 2010. Over all it has been very good to me . 154000 miles and I've only had to replace a few joint and patch up the exhaust. Living in western NY we get a lot of rust from road salt. Only major repair has been the subframe. Got an inspection done a few years back and mechanic had pointed out that you could stick your fist in a gaping hole in the top of the frame. Repair went went and car has been driving straight since, after an alignment to make sure all was square. I will update you when window regulator has been successfully replaced. Part is do to be delivered this afternoon.
All done. Took my brother and I a little under an hour. Hangups...getting the door skin off the lock. We took the whole latch out which was not necessary, and getting window clips off an on. A little trouble reinstalling the window regulator to door skin but all in all not bad. I would definitely do it again if needed and also for a friend or co worker. Thanks again for the video.
Thank you so much for this video now I can use drive thrus again lol. Mine had the exact same issue cable was mangled to hell. I did find it easier to bend the plastic clips back a bit before putting them on they slid on much easier this way no lube needed and they seem to have bent back to their original state.
What would cause the window to drop when door was shut harder than normal. Did the cable around the motor pop off, causing it to drop? Not sure what else would keep it up except for those cables, but the window rolled up and down no problem beforehand
The regulator in mine went. The problem is that neither I, nor the dealership know if it is a 6 pin or 2 pin power regulator, even with my vin number. Is one of the 3 cables you detached from the inner panel at the start of the video the power cable for the regulator? Otherwise I am gonna have to pull the whole thing apart to count the pins

Plastic clips popped off the bottom of the glass
Do all dodge avengers windows fit all years
Just did my 2009 it worked
What is the piece that makes it gow down? My window 2013 dodge avenger is stuck up
The window regulator, If you don't hear the motor in the door trying to work it could be a fuse or switch.
@@joshcb7 I hear the motor or whatever when i use up but when I push down it doesn't make noise or move
