This song is technically one of the most insane metal compositions ever, a very hard to play song with every instrument and yet you managed to master this perfectly too. Awesome work man, really, no exaggaration!

i agree that the song is one of the most insane metal compositions ever but its not very technically challenging. It depends on what you compare it to of course. If you compare it to most other black metal its very technical but black metal is not a very technically challenging genre. Dissection themselves have many songs that are way harder to pull of on a technical level than this
This is actually relatively technically simple. Night's Blood is what I'd call more challenging.
I think that Svartesmeden og Lundaymirstrollet by Windir is a bit harder, but this one is basically a 9 minutes long solo. I tried learning it and only once you do so you realize how complicated it is. Every riff is a tiny bit different every time

Amazing cover man! Absolutely love it. Just 1 note, the part at 7:35 is actually tremelo picked, the same part is played in the intro but differently in the original composition and slower in the intro! However in the outro they play it faster and with tremelo picking, anyway it doesn't matter your cover was great and all I just thought about this because that riff/section is one of my favourite by Dissection!
