This has been my favorite Dissection song for as long as i can remember, and somehow i always knew you would cover this song. Anyways i will firstly say that of anyone on youtube submitting recordings of black metal songs, yours are by far the best. You definitely have set the bar. That being said here are my thoughts on this video: The execution from start to finish was flawless. You obviously know the song intimately. The only thing i can say was off was the mix. The highs in the lead guitar parts were lost in the volume of the rhythm guitar, and for any Dissection song i would say that the lead guitar parts are incredibly important to the overall composition and that the leads in Dissection songs especially so in Night's Blood have a huge impact on the atmosphere generated by the music. In the final part, the lead guitar part carries a ton of power as it goes along with the main guitar verse to the songs ending, but in this case, it didn't, because the volume of the lead guitar was too low, or the volume of the rhythm guitar was too high. I cant say im an expert on recording or mixing, but when it comes to this particular song, i know it extremely well. As i said before my only complaint is that the presence of the lead guitar in your video is not quite there. If that were adjusted in the mix, i think that it would be perfect. Thanks for your videos, they are awesome. And for a future video, my song requests would have to be: "Det Som En Gang Var" by Burzum, "Spill the Blood of the Lamb" by Carpathian Forest, "In the Wordless Chamber", or "Towards the Pantheon" by Emperor, and "Funeral Fog" by Mayhem.
