    Awesome job! You should elaborate more on the basic concepts. Break it down to reach more novice or people just starting out so that they understand the benefits of using these systems and processes. Great video and production.

    How many gallons of water do you use before you have to change the resin?

      The yield will vary based on the feed water TDS. I get roughly 1,100 gallons using very good quality virgin resin (egenerated resin will typically get less). That's pushing it farther than ideal tho. When I start to notice a few water spots, I change it out.

      My base TDS is a little under 200ppm. A carbon/chlorine pre filter will lower the tds going into the DI tank and prolong the resin too. Half a cube of good resin can be purchased on sale for $110-$120.
