I’m pausing the video to thank you for leaving in your experiments, mistakes, and learning opportunities. Growing up all shows edited that stuff out and we got a skewed view of what the creative process is about, which was discouraging for learners who made mistakes. I love that now we normalize failing, learning, and changing course! It’s so important for beginners to see that!!

I just watched someone ruin a 200 year old antique dresser with wood filler, paint and transfers 😢 and all i could think was if you could have taken that on it would have been restored to its rightful beauty, love your work!❤

You're so hard on yourself - i love the fact that you tried the diy veneer and even though it didn't work out, you learn new things and the important part is that you keep being brave enough to try. This cabinet is beautiful and you did a lovely job.

Wonderful upgrade to that lab cabinet. I love the way the wood grain flows.

The color change was the right decision: it was too red before. Now it looks perfect!

That looks really good! It IS the fanciest cabinet for a shop ever.

This piece was truly brought back from the dead. Im glad the kitty was there to help you. Im surprised more of your neighbors dont come out to "help". What a beautiful piece of furniture you turned it into

This is one of my favorite videos! I enjoy them most when you talk about what you are doing and the tools you use.

I hate to admit it, but I wasn't crazy about the color of this piece......until I saw the final result! It was gorgeous!!!! I'm so glad that you changed it. The first color was ok....but the second was just awesome! You do such beautiful work. We ALL make mistakes once in a while. But, that doesn't mean that we shouldn't try different things once in a while. Don't be discouraged. We all learn from our mistakes, so mistakes are actually GOOD. LOL! I can't wait until next project. It doesn't matter how big or how small it is. You bring me joy.
