Great question - while there is a generally accepted way to hold a bow in the classical tradition, in Fiddling, many musicians use many different holds, some which can be more effective to play other styles, like Old Time. Also, since she's one of the best players (and 6 time national fiddle champion), her bow hold clearly isn't holding her back!
