I bought this watch, but had to return it. I just did not like the negative display. It looks nothing like the pictures and videos. Numbers were much darker, harder to read. I got the standard display version and am very happy with it.
got this watch DEC 2011, ived been using it until now. NOV 23 2020!
Awesome. I've had mine since about 2011 also. Positive display version. Still going strong and one of my favorite watches ever.
I've had the original G9300 since middle of 2012. I just now bought the black and gold version! I also have a GW9400 Rangeman. I just like the Mudman more. Seems to suit me better.

A bateria movida a energia solar dura muitos anos amigo, mas tudo depende da intensidade e tipo de uso, mas, no mínimo sua bateria irá durar 10 anos, existem relatos de até mais q 10 anos.

Mind u... This mudman's features are good enough for most of ordinary people. A tough solar watch with price half of Rangeman dw9400. 1/4 of your GWG1000 and 1/5 of the price of latest Frogman. What else would youu want from this price range gshock! I am a proud owner of this mudman and those other GShocks too.

I prefer the gold black more than the basic one. If you really want to use the functions extensively, make sure to get one in positive display instead. The negative display in this model is pretty hard to read sometimes.

This watch operates using CTL1616. Same battery to every single tough solar G-Shock on the market. From a Baby-G all the way to the GWG1000 Mudmaster. Exact same battery.
1. It will last for more than 10 years until it will lose effectiveness. Still usable, just not as efficient.
2. Dip the watch in a water filled container and place the face directly towards the light source. Water to not overheat the watch while charging.
3. GW-9300 is carbon fiber & wave-ceptor. Tougher and reliable at time keeping than G-9300 non-cf & non-mb6.

Both are big watches
Rangeman is more expensive and has some extra features
Mudman has solar, thermometer, compass and moonphase
Rangeman has solar, thermometer, compass and altimeter
Mudman has mud resistant case and tougher buttons
Rangeman has radio time keeping for selected countries
Rangeman IS NOT mud resistant despite some videos claiming it is
It is a tough G shock but unless specified, only mudman and mud master models are mud resistant
@@Phoenix-King-ozai The Rangeman GW 9400 IS mud resistant. And there are several G-Shocks resistant to mud, like the gx 56 or the GPR B1000. Also, every G-Shock watch will resist mud, dirt, grit and sand. Nothing will get inside them. You clearly don't know shit.

Yes. Basically when there are no/less presence of lights.

Mudman is mainly, rangeman is for junkies us army or silly girls. Take your pill.
For fashion mudman but if you are sure you'll be using the full functionality of the watch Rangerman is better
just get my mudman 9000. does it's worth to get 9300??
If you found it at an affordable price then why not. It is pretty good. But I would recommend you to check other alternatives from a similar price range as G9300 before fully made the decision.

Works fine for me. You could calibrate it if you found it to be inaccurate. Should works fine after.
