I love this watch, only $140 from Sam's, as mentioned. I've had it over 2 years with daily (heavy) use in a shop environment. Watch looks brand new, zero wear, it's a slightly smaller G-Shock (compared to others) is extremely lightweight, and ATOMIC SOLAR? Best watch I've ever owned. In a business situation, it's still a "pretty" watch. I have small wrists and it's comfortable. Oh, did I mention it has EL lighting, with the tilt of the wrist? Really hard to beat.
So, here’s my scenario: I’m @ Sam’s Club today and this watch just JUMPED out at me. (Sales lady behind the counter knew nothing about the watch.) Came home to do some research, and sure enough: Rob has a review of it! LOL!!! Dude, I swore I was going to buy a square G next...but...this one is making me rethink that decision. What an impressive G. And wow...those red tinted metal accents just set it off so nicely. Now I am going to agonize over this for a while...or at least until I sell a watch or two to make room in the collection. Lol! Thanks, Rob. You rock!
Matt $140 at sams is what I did. I sold the watch since but really think it’s best Gshock option. Size and features are spot on, the buttons easy to use as well.
Have had this model for about a month. Super light and comfortable. All the functionality you want and smaller than most of the rounds. Great price from Sam's.
I don’t like how Casio moves to analog hands in their G-shock watches more recently, That’s why I prefer Gulfman and Seaman/Frogman over Gulfmaster, Mudman over Mudmaster.. I much prefer fully digital display
Bought one in Tokyo a week ago for 17000 yen (160$). Great for the money. This is the same as your watch with tough solar and the new 6 receiver function (China transmitter now included unlike the earlier version of this watch). Looks great and is good if you want a slightly smaller watch.
Very nice G. I've had mine for a couple years. I'm pretty sure the buckle is titanium. A magnet slightly attracts the stainless steel buckles on my other Gs, but not with the Gulfman.
Thanks for showing us the Gulfman. It looks like a good all-round model. I have the Rangeman 9400-1 which I love. Checking out other watches. Not sure if they still make this model, need to check it out.
and there are news from bruce? dont find a video from him about the gulfman. man i love the design but here not more available must order from hongkong or tokyo
that's why I was asking...noticed that they are still on sale there :o) I'm just a bigger fan of the squares than the round G-shock...just wondering if it's even worth getting
Love this module - and have it, more or less, in a WS-210 non G-Shock. Would love to have it in a G-Shock, so am going back and forth between this GW-9110 and the GW-7900. Sort of like the comfort of the 7900 (have a G-7900, so the wings are good for me), but the titanium machined back of the Gulfman appeals to me. Also, I wonder if that back makes the alarm louder. Anyway, great vid, as usual. Thanks!
Iirc, the 9100 does not have a tide or moonphase display. It's still Solar Atomic though. Also has a neat "revolver" indicator. Personally, I prefer the GW-9110's display functions.
Same goes for men, I sometimes prefer to wear a smaller watch and some women's watches fit the bill! Doesn't matter to anybody but yourself and your preferences.
I’ll take a GW-9200 Riseman over this any day. Talking about a watch that has a lot of info on the dial, let’s go: -Day -Year / Month / Date -Hours / Minutes / Seconds -Power level. -Strength indicator for Multiband 6 reception -Barometric graph for weather prediction. It uses the same band and screws as this one, with different printing. Very comfortable and light, these old “Master of G” watches are in a class of their own, very wearable.

Wow Emily, that is very comprehensive. You really make me want to purchase this watch. Are you sure you don't work for Casio?

Good buy at USD140. I got my G9100 for less than US75. So for me, the GW9110 isnt worth twice G9100.

Got one today (02-28-2019) for $115.81 from my local Sam's. Batch number shows 08 August, 2017

Hi what is the difference between the gw9100 and the gw9110? Thanks
My first g shock is on its way ! GW6900 for $65 on ebay !
Robert Sanchez one of the best bang for buck G-Shocks you can get, congrats on one of the classics 👍
I love this watch because it's basically a GW7900 in a smaller more premium body because of the titanium parts 👍
Did you receive yet?
I think this version is now high on my list.
Bearded Watch
Just sent to Bruce, see what he thinks. I very much like it.
and there are news from bruce? dont find a video from him about the gulfman. man i love the design but here not more available must order from hongkong or tokyo
I love G-Shock 😁👍
Lo tengo en color azul. Increible y sensacional G!!!
Gulf is aka gw7900
The Gulfman feels lighter, because all metal parts are from titanium, not steel.
He just said they were both 57g. What weighs more, a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks?
I wonder how this compares to the GW2310? Trying to decide between the two.
I have the same watch and I'm very happy with it
Hey Rob - did you end up keeping this watch or did you move it?
Sold it. My local Sams club still has them for $140 and that is a great watch for that price.
that's why I was asking...noticed that they are still on sale there :o) I'm just a bigger fan of the squares than the round G-shock...just wondering if it's even worth getting
Just ordered the GW7900-1
Crazy deal @ $87.88
Looking at the prw-3500t-7cr too.
And of course the GWG-1000-1A3JF
YOUR fault.
I got one for 100$ new on ebay....just purchased so should arrive in few days time
Same module as the gw7900?
Just saw this at my local Sam's Club this morning(02/27/19) for $115.81

My first Gshock solar is a GW7900 module 3193 at Sams Club for $102
nice video man...but will you tell me whats the difference between GW-9110 and GW-9100

Is it fit on 16 cm wrist?
Yup, got one at Sams Club. Is a nice watch
Just very curious how old is this watch when was it released got one myself
It got released in 2010
Gulfman or the Mudman, which is better.
For most people the Mudmaster would be better, I think. Just when you need the storm warning and the tidal display, the Gulfmaster is your watch.
Handsome watch!
Got mine a week ago at my local Sam's Club. In store price of $115.81.
Is it made in China or Thailand?
@@doohantallywhack8267 Thailand
There's an appeal about this kind of watches. But do you think this will be acceptable on a female's wrist or no?
Watches in general are unisex. If you like it, rock the heck out of it.
Same goes for men, I sometimes prefer to wear a smaller watch and some women's watches fit the bill! Doesn't matter to anybody but yourself and your preferences.
@@RandomRobReviews I decided to rock it and have been loving it ever since. I love this watch so muchh ❤️
Can only find this watch for $300 Canadian. Is it even worth that much ?
Depends on how much you want it?
@@RandomRobReviews fair enough, just bothers me to see that people were getting if for half that price 1-2 years ago.
@@aidanmccrae1103 yesterdays price is not tomorrows price .
I have the frogman and Rangeman

holly f, do some reviewers like to choke their hands... is this how people wear their watches? Jebus...
I have mudman, rangeman and now this one!
Same here, Gulfman, Mudman and Rangeman. I'm looking for a Frogman.
The tide chart is set how? Rising tide and lowering tide?
You enter latitude and longitude.
