Tip for the gold poster board. Gently roll the poster board and paper clip it in place. Leave over night. Next day roll it up a little tighter, paper clip it again and leave over night. Then when you cut it into strips and roll it into shape it won't be difficult and will roll easier with out creases!

Another way to give wood nutcrackers a vintage gold look is to paint them black first then use gold paint or rub n buff. The secret is in the black paint.

Shannon, those bells are gorgeous.the last 2 years I was so busy making my ornaments one year was red truck and the next was gingerbread.skipped last year as far as making ornaments,this year I hope to make some snowman balls out of DT clear balls but since I fell last Monday and broke my arm in two places up next to the right shoulder. Don’t know if that will happen since I’m right handed. Thanks I still love watching you.

A word of caution on the red berries. I had some of them in my bathroom, & the humidity caused the red paint to come off on my wall.

I love these dupes videos! At least to me, the biggest cost of high end decorations is the cost of labor. That's why I started to DIY years ago!
Side note: I would like to suggest that for anyone wanting to make the nativity, if you use the same house she did, just cut the sides if the roof off which will make the building taller. Then cut off the chimney which I think I will do. 👍👍👍
