🎄My top 25 Christmas DIYs from last year th-cam.com/video/vjzVbzxvW0E/w-d-xo.html So do think I should have put the larger wreath I put over my garage higher up on the list or am I a biased wreath lover? 😬
I am a 91 year old crafter who loved ALL of your Christmas decorations and you used most of your supplies from my favorite store. Thank you for sharing. I make anything and everything for Christmas and I plan to use some of your ideas. Looking for more. God bless.
After Christmas, and throughout the year, any time I see someone giving away an artificial Christmas tree I get it. Cut all the branches off and you've got pics for days in various lengths which are especially handy in the DIY projects that you use several pics to make it more full or "bushy". Wire or zip tie them together and your garlands look like real branches. Don't attach them end to end but somewhere in the middle or third of the way through, and it will really look like it's natural. LOVE your ideas and can't wait to hit dollar tree! (I am quite the DIY'er and used to own a design company specializing in Christmas and found so many ways to use Dollar tree products to extend my budget and create the wow factor. Your videos truly have inspired me!!)
I saw a similar suggestion a couple of months ago ... 2 weeks after the church threw out one of their old artificial trees! I kicked myself then for not thinking of it, and reading your comment has renewed my regret!
I am 66 years old and love crafting. Carol Duval was always my Queen of crafting in the days when much wasn’t available. But now Thanks to Cricut and You it’s opened up a whole new world especially for me who was barely able to use a computer. Thank you and God Bless ❤
Finally a crafter that uses spray paint. A lot of other crafters use milk, chalk paint or other kinds of paint that really looks awful and probably takes awhile to dry. Spray paint is easy, gets in all the little crevices and you can get it in a shiny or mat finish. And will save you time and looks so much better. Thank you for bringing crafting into the modern era.
In their defense, spray paint is more toxic and difficult to do if it's cold outside and you live in an apartment. I like spray paint for painting plastic or metal being used outdoors. But honestly, I probably knocked at least a few months off my life from all the fumes from all the cans of spray paint over the course of my life 😢
I like the idea of spray paint but would definitely use a mask. The only problem I have using spray paint is that I am not good at getting a coat down without causing a run or blurp. I guess practice makes perfect.
I love bird decorations, in white and red. Usually doves and cardinals with sparkles and feathers. Then crystal snowflakes and rustic antique looking silver ornaments. I actually have the old fashion bubble lights as well, in white. Love those.
Great idea Megan. I have to spread my shopping over two or three supermarkets now its crazy. Shelves are empty every time I go, everyone better prepare themselves for recession 2023. I think stores better have tight security because when people can't afford to feed their families, things might get out of hand.
You are so right about next year, Here in California I am due to retire and I am very stressed about what comes in 2023. We have had our savings dwindle with the cost of living into the stratosphere, we are finding it impossible to replace it especially when you cant work anymore. it gets tougher by the day.
@@mitchel8329 I also own some passive assets on my own, I started in june, doing pretty good so far but could be much better in terms of returns. I just wish I was as smart as you, I would have a much better budget for my retirement savings by now.
@@mitchel8329 I think it's especially difficult for newbies doing it all alone. I wouldn't mind looking up your advisor please, I've been looking into hiring one as well.
You and I have a lot in common, I'm a very traditional person when it comes to Christmas, or all things. I love watching and seeing what you have up your sleeves. Thank you so much for all your talents.
Thank you, thank you! I have been wanting to make the big wreath on your garage but couldn't remember the details and, although Ihave rewatched almost every video, I hadn't found it. My husband wants this for the door of our of the garden shed. After watching your old videos, I now have a long list of projects I love and want to complete. Thank you for being so talented and thrift minded.
Just a tip from another crafter - you don't have to buy Mod Podge. If white glue or tacky glue is cheaper, buy that. Actually, if the same amount of white glue/tacky glue and Mod Podge are the same price, go for the white/tacky glue. Mix the glue with equal parts of water and you have a very good DIY version of the expensive Mod Podge. I used this on ornaments we made when my oldest child was about 2. Those ornaments are still in good shape 29 years later.
Thirty-three minutes for 25 DIYs? Outstanding!!! I love the way each project is presented without all of the obvious ("Pick up your glue gun and...?) steps. You were succinct and easy to follow! Keep your wreath right where it is. 😊 Thank you for sharing your talent!!!
Okay Megan, I'm 61 years old and even I think the term Mama Jama is old but I can't remember who used to say it? Was it the Prince of Bel-Air? Every time you say that you crack me up! By the way you're the spitting image of my mother when she was a young woman. She's been gone since 1994 but I would love her to see you. But she was in her early twenties she bleached her hair and she was a knockout! You are as well. The reason I'm telling you about her bleach blonde hair is because it looks so beautiful on her so if you ever want to change hair colors I would recommend going blonde. I wish I could send you a picture. And also I would love to compliment you on this fast moving and very clever craft video! It's fun to watch and the outcome of each craft is fantastic! You were smart to use items they sell every year too. Hopefully this video will be around for a long long time! Oh, happy Halloween LOL
I actually was a bleach blonde for years! Like not just blonde highlights, but so bleach blonde I was 2 steps away from looking trashy! 😂 When I stopped teaching to be a play at home mom I colored my hair red because it was something fun the school district never would have allowed. So much love to you my sweet friend ❤️ -Megan
@@GlueGunsRoses mom never looked trashy and she did not have highlights either she was a bleach blonde! It's all how you wear it! I'm a redhead myself these days! I want to thank you for these inspirational DIY inexpensive gifts or personal home decor! I've gotten my D-I-L to similarly snatch up every day, little crafting items from DT every visit. We store them in tubs & end up creating unexpected beauties together/to share with each other all the time! It gives us a treasure trove of jewels to use for frequently needed "shower," "birthday," "holiday," gifts, or donations for raffles!! Keep yours coming, please! I always recommend people snatch up really great post season/holiday sales items or pieces & store them into crafting drawers or storage tubs. They often end up inspiring similarly wonderful DIY gems while you're rifling thru, or as you've done, after viewing another created piece in a store, online or on TV. I look forward to catching up your episodes & sharing them with my family & friends! Blessed Be.
I first found you a year ago when I got Covid- I just laid in bed and watched all your creations haha now a year later you are still KILLING IT I can’t stand it!! You are so creative and talented. Thank you for all your hard work cranking out these videos
I refuse to start Christmas decorating now, but you make me want to start DIYing decor! Number 11, the name tags have to be one of my favorites (as of right now, I’m still watching) 🙃 Thank you for sharing!
If that doesn't get you in the Christmas spirit, nothing will! Love the garland, and the wood piece wreath, and the beaded wreath....you get the idea. Loved them all! Thanks for your inspiration!
Hello: Just wanted to say that I watch lots & lots of crafters this time of year, but this the first time I've watched you. You are incredible. You just whip out those ideas so quick, and they are so simple, and still look high end. You use very few supplies and yet they turn out beautiful. I can't wait to get started with a few ideas I got from you! Thank you so much for your videos! Thanks for the gifts, and Merry Christmas to you and your family. Carol K.
I LOVE how adaptable your crafts are...if you're woodsy, more pinecones to go with the bells, easy to adapt colors for Hanukkah or Kwanza, go nuts with the glitter, whatever!...everyone can find a creative outlet here
1 John 2:15-17 King James Version 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.
Ok so… I have been crafting and painting professionally for years now and I have to tell you this top 25 is amazing. I was more and more impressed the more I watched! You GO GIRL!!! Outstanding!!!
Megan, this video revived my Christmas spirit that was dead for the last 10 years or so. Dollar tree is one of my favorite stores. I can't wait to start decorating our home. Thank you so much for your beautiful ideas.
I am a beginner at crafting and I have found that I love it. I am 71 yrs old and work from home 3 days a week and this will be fun thing to do on my off days. Thank you for inspiring me today. Your crafts were lovely and I will be trying them out !!
Megan! You make me laugh! Every time you say “if you’re still with me” I smile! I look so forward to your videos, the last thing on my mind is dropping off early! This video was rejuvenating. This year I had no “umph” for the holidays. But you’ve inspired me!! Your crafts are so lovely and so “doable” - I’m rooting through my stash of who knows what. Thank you, my friend. I truly love your work. ❤️
Wow! I so appreciate everything you've showed us in this video . I watch these DIY vids and I think the ideas are useless, cheap looking, complicated, time consuming or too expensive, but everything you presented was useful, beautiful , sensible, durable for years, cost effective, time reasonable, acessable, and easy enough for a caveman to do lol. You explain it all so well at a good pace. I love that you get right to the point ,step by step. Thank you so much! You have real talent for teaching and crafting.
It’s said you can’t buy class, but you have proven them wrong. I’ve been binging DIY Christmas decorations tonight since I can’t sleep and your channel is class. Every decoration is 100% class. Thank you…
I love how customizable most of these are! I can never find any advent decorations. By changing the colors or words I can actually decorate for advent this year! ☺️
The altar guild ladies at my church are great about this ... for the big flower pots at our front entrance, they change out the embellishments and bows for every season, including between Advent and Christmas. I'm looking at the big ornaments in the videos, and pondering adding them to the tree next to the entrance, but being able to switch out the colours on them too...
WOW, this video stands out as a WINNER to me! Your ideas are creative, unique, original & beautiful!! Your presentation & instructions are clear & easy to follow. I’ve watched thousands of Christmas DIYs on TH-cam, I wasn’t sure I wanted to see one more … especially Dollar Tree one where they turn out like everyone else’s . I wanted to write this review before I was even finished watching because I was so impressed! You can paint vinyl sticker letters?!? Great idea!! The laundry basket / tree basket blew me away!! You’re clever and talented .. you’re ideas stand out in the crowd of TH-camrs. Congratulations on this video I’ll be watching, learning and crafting with you !!! Love this!! ❤
I have watched sooo many Christmas DIY videos and I truly appreciate your style and low cost plus high impact DIYS above and beyond ALL others 🤷 You have really brought my enthusiasm to a greater level after watching your video and showing me I can have beautiful decorations even on my budget!!! And they really do look higher end!! Now to bring back another "old quote" (a song) " You dropped a bomb on me" 🤭 I think it was a song from the 80's 😂 Thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas!
Megan, I totally agree with everything that everybody else has said. I don't think I could have said it any better. Love, love, love your videos!!! 🌲❤️🌲
You have become my favorite to watch! You're fast paced and I don't end up fast forwarding through any of your videos and I love you're ideas they never look cheap.
You are very talented, Megan.Number 2 has to be my favourite because of how simple it is put together. You could also hang it on a wall and even make more of them and turn them into an arch. All these DIYs are incredible and well explained. Thank you so very much for sharing them with us.
I am always impressed how you keep coming up with such upscale looking decorations! And the way you present everything is entertaining in itself. I couldn’t loose no matter which of these 25 projects I decided to make. Thanks for sharing with us.
One suggestion is something I came up with last year - take two of the DTs over the door wreath hangers - cut off the over the door part and glue together in a criss cross. Add floral in the center. I also used two of the small bottle brush tree bases and a couple of DT BBQ skewers and made some poles - skis and poles with floral decor... Easy to make and very inexpensive but high end looking! Love all your DIYs - you inspired two years ago to start on my DIY journey! Thank you and blessings!
You really know how to make everything so easy and beautiful! I love your videos. Too many to choose from so I would have to say all the wreaths. Just keep those videos coming! ❤
Haha! I totally love wreaths and make more than I can possibly use 😂 Love love love the huge wreath, obviously!! Definitely doing it for our first Christmas in our new home!
Just love the Mama Jama comment shows how down to earth you truly are, hits home, holidays are hard when missing loved ones who have passed on hearing the words common for them to use gives confront thanks for being you may God Bless you and yours! Marry Christmas.
Thank you so very much Megan for sharing all of these wonderful, fun DIY’s! I normally dread this time of year because everything is so expensive! With what you’ve shared, I’m super excited to be able to do these projects with my daughters, make memories, and also make our holiday more personable! Thank you thank you thank you sooo much ❤
Love, love how quickly, yet detailed each DIY was done. I usually have to fast forward though long drawn out explainations. I rarely subscribe, but you had me couple projects in. 😀
One of the BEST videos I’ve ever viewed. So many great ideas to produce beautiful decor on a budget. I’m crafty so this is sooo in my lane. Thank you!!!
All these are such great ideas! Thank you for sharing them. I love your channel and appreciate that you shared in a previous video how important it was to spend quality time w/ your daughter during her final year of high school. You made the right choice b/c family is so important.
Megan, you make the greatest Christmas holiday diys! I love absolutely everything you make. Everything is so high end and beautiful, from the wreaths, to the ornaments, to the beaded garlands, to that adorable gnome! Love your creativity and humor! I always look forward to your videos!
I with you on the traditional red and green Christmas decor, classic! Love the video! I work at a radio station so I’ll be making those cute little star music sheet ornaments for our tree! They’re perfect! ❤🎄
Loved, loved all of these! Yours are the best I've seen. They look great, but they're simple. I don't know how you do it, but they're all genius! Thank you so much, Megan!
Great video! Doing a gingerbread cafe outside. Put my cafe table chairs out. Took plastic lattice made cafe sign , scotch-guarded a Girafe and teddy bear , made table full of cookies gingerbread foam cutouts puff paint, put chef hats on them with elf aprons , old kids bench decorated with cookies etc all sitting in LR ready for Nov25 reveal👍❤️you inspired me to make the tree snowflake wreath ( I’ll add gingerbread guys in center) for the 2 trees and I hung as backdrop a gingerbread house shower curtain fun fun
Absolutely love the first two projects. The oversized garage wreath. The two projects using the ornaments as large beads. The deco packaging for pics are so cute. And of course the classy candles at the end, but I would probably do florals vs. greenery 🎄 🎀 🔔 😍
I love wreaths! Thanks for all the wonderful ideas! I'm glad I found you and so happy you don't make everything farm house themed. I'm really hoping you will make after Christmas/winter wreaths and Valentines Day.
I don't decorate too much for seasons outside of fall & Christmas, but I will see what I can do this year for the valentine's day wreath! Much love to you my friend ❤️ -Megan
Now how in the world did I never know about your channel? I hang on TH-cam all the time and this was the first time you came up on my feed! I am now a new subscriber. Truly enjoyed all the ideas, but my fave was the floral wired ornament bead garland. Clever and classy! And although the outside of my house is traditionally red and green, walking into my house is a HUGE change as I decorate inside with champagne, ivory, pinks, silvers and golds. Since it is just me now, I can use my favorite color pink and no one complains. I. LOVE. IT. And my dogs could not care less. Thanks for the ideas! I will have a great time catching up on all your diy videos now. Merry Christmas, my creative friend!
Megan, love your ideas! I use to do a lot of recycling items for decorations, you make it look so easy and the price can’t be beat. So helpful especially now with prices so high. Your so talented. Thank you for what you do and sharing these great items. ❤
I just found your video and I am SO THRILLED to actually see NEW Christmas DIY's! YOU, my dear, are a breath of fresh air, as are your ideas! Thank you! I subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing what else is in store!
I was only halfway through the video when I stopped/paused it… and started 2 of the “Welcome” signs using the DT letters & long wood plank. (I stained the back of one, added the black letters to the other side so they would show up better on the natural wood, then stained the edges [using a cut piece of a sponge] to distress it. I even went lightly over the center of the letters. It turned out fabulous! Looked like a long slice of a small tree! The added greenery and black & red ribbon really topped it off!) Thank you for sharing these brilliant ideas!! Now I’ll finish watching the remainder of the video… and may have to pause again to create one of your inspiring creations! ❤
Megan, I’ve not attempted any crafts yet, but after watching this, you have inspired me immensely!! I think I can handle these. I believe that everyone of them that you crafted should be in the top 10, but we all know that’s not The way it works. lol I will be 59 years old on December 14 and I am ready to start crafting you make everything look so easy and these 25 DIY’s were amazing! Thank you so much for inspiring me! Happy holidays!! 🥰🎄⛄️
@Glue Guns & Roses these are just the cutest. I am passing this along to my daughter so her and her girls (19, 17 and 9 yrs old) can make some heirlooms of their own to keep forever. Thank you
5:19 i would absolutely LOVE if you did a video on both holiday and non-holiday DIYs using this vinyl from dollar tree for those of us who dont have a cricut machine! Lol
Wonderful!!! I loved everything about this video! You teach at a wonderful and clear pace (I’m a retired teacher) that keeps me wanting more!! Thank you!!!
Absolutely loving your Christmas DIY videos. I don't have a creative bone in my body, but I'm extremely anxious to put some of your ideas to work.. Thanks for sharing! May God's blessings be upon you!! ❤❤❤
I watch ALOT of DIY’s on utube! You by far are the best!!! ALL and I mean ALL of your DIY’s look so high end and expensive! Ok you are now my favorite!!!!! Sending your utube to my crafter friends… thank you sooo much! You’re creativity is wonderful with beautiful results!! Melissa from Arkansas
What a blessing you have with Sergio and Javier, they do such an amazing job!! I just continue to get more excited watching your side and backyard transformation!! I has knee replacement 7 weeks ago which has slowed me down, but watching all you're progress has me excited to get back in the dirt!! ( which my husband does not understand the joy it brings me)!!
This video was well planned and informative. I appreciate that you didn’t show every detail on how to make them and keeping the footage short but direct. I love watching all creative crafters but when some videos are one to two plus hours long I get a bit frustrated (I know some people will disagree and need to see every step). Love all designs and your method. TYFS your ideas and creativity.
Omg the ball sphere with the bow on it gave me such a good idea!!! Add some fake garland in the inside add some twinkling lights and a fake candle in the middle. I can see it in my head.
I love your videos. I made a Christmas gnome couple for friends of ours after watching the video and they came out adorable!! I am a self-proclaimed craft-challenged person and you inspired me to try. Thanks so much for your wonderful ideas. Looking forward to doing more projects.
AMAZING! Thank you for making decorating for Christmas truely affordable and unique! I can't get over what you do with Dollar Tree merchandise! I so wanted to make a wreath this year and thanks to you, I know how and what to buy! What a great gift you share!🎄❄❤💚⛄

I can't wait to get started with a few ideas I got from you! Thank you so much for your videos! Thanks for the gifts, and Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Carol K.
Took me 1 video to fall in love with her too (and sub😉)!! Welcome❤🙏🏾
You will refer to Megan more than the other crafters.
Y'all are making me blush.
What I love most about your video is that you are direct to the point and you get the job done and not a lot of senseless chatter! Thank you
This is possibly my favorite diy christmas decor videos. Watch it multiple times every year. Thank you
Love this! Made 4 gnomes. I had to use the small planter, and added some feet. Super cute! Thank you!
How did you add feet?
I LOVE how adaptable your crafts are...if you're woodsy, more pinecones to go with the bells, easy to adapt colors for Hanukkah or Kwanza, go nuts with the glitter, whatever!...everyone can find a creative outlet here
1 John 2:15-17
King James Version
15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world.
Thank you Jacqui & so much love to you my friend ❤️

It does get redundant watching DIY channels who mock each other’s ideas. They just change the color or patterns and maybe the foliage.
For any decopodge craft (except plastic), you can also use a lighter to remove the excess paper. Leaves a cool “burnt edge” look!
It’s said you can’t buy class, but you have proven them wrong. I’ve been binging DIY Christmas decorations tonight since I can’t sleep and your channel is class. Every decoration is 100% class. Thank you…
Love the kill
Love this!! ❤
I am amazed at your endless creative ideas! This did NOT feel like a 32 minute craft video! Thank you for all you do!
I have watched sooo many Christmas DIY videos and I truly appreciate your style and low cost plus high impact DIYS above and beyond ALL others 🤷
You have really brought my enthusiasm to a greater level after watching your video and showing me I can have beautiful decorations even on my budget!!! And they really do look higher end!! Now to bring back another "old quote" (a song)
" You dropped a bomb on me" 🤭
I think it was a song from the 80's 😂
Thank you for sharing these wonderful ideas!
Thanks for inspiration
Thank you Megan. I love your personality. Your humor is so welcoming. Making all your crafts
Ty.
I will keep my grandkids busy using your ideas for Christmas
Love the wood wreath, I'm thinking of using corks. And my favorite is the wreath hanger transformation. Thanks for all the great ideas!
Megan, I totally agree with everything that everybody else has said. I don't think I could have said it any better. Love, love, love your videos!!! 🌲❤️🌲
I always love how simple and cute your diys are!! And always reminding everyone to customize -- we don't all need the same colors for everything 💖
You have become my favorite to watch! You're fast paced and I don't end up fast forwarding through any of your videos and I love you're ideas they never look cheap.
Love the hula hoop wreath and the planter bell!! Still watching.
You are very talented, Megan.Number 2 has to be my favourite because of how simple it is put together. You could also hang it on a wall and even make more of them and turn them into an arch. All these DIYs are incredible and well explained. Thank you so very much for sharing them with us.
JESUS LOVES YOU REPENT AND HE DOESN’T WANT TO SEE YOU PERISH CAUSE HE LOVES YOU AND HE DIED FOR YOU ❤
Thanks girl!!! I love your diys so much!!!!!❤
I am always impressed how you keep coming up with such upscale looking decorations! And the way you present everything is entertaining in itself. I couldn’t loose no matter which of these 25 projects I decided to make. Thanks for sharing with us.
I watched all 25 DIY"S and think you are amazing! You have an incredible imagination. They were all some of the best ideas I have seen. Exceptional!!!
Thank you! I love these DIYs! I'm not a crafty person but I feel confident that I can make these for family and friends. 😊
What does it make? Sorry if I missed it, but I'm confused. I just can't see it. 😏
@@4cats2dogs They said it mimics skis and poles. Wintry, rather than specifically Christmassy.
You are the Queen of 'Cheap but not cheap-looking' decor! So many great ideas! Thanks again!
Love the blue and silver garland. I made a blue and silver mesh wreath last year and it turned out so pretty! 😊
Lord help me! 😂 this woman right here is a genius which means i will be broke from doing all her DIY!!! where do you put everything? 😐♥️
I with you on the traditional red and green Christmas decor, classic! Love the video! I work at a radio station so I’ll be making those cute little star music sheet ornaments for our tree! They’re perfect! ❤🎄
The comment above pretending to be me is a scam
Loved, loved all of these! Yours are the best I've seen. They look great, but they're simple. I don't know how you do it, but they're all genius! Thank you so much, Megan!
I am so impressed. you really do make your DIY look expensive and high quality. Thank you for all the inspiration.
Much love to you my friend ❤️
-Megan
I love all these ideas! This year, my tree is being done in precious moments and angel wings.
Love all of these!! Definately got inspired!! My favorite was the last one!! Simple yet so elegant!! TYSMFS!!
I really loved the last idea too. Simple, cheap and not cheesy diys are my favorite types of diys❤️
I am going with a "candy land" Christmas tree this year. I've wanted a pastel candy tree for years and I'm finally doing it! 😍
The added greenery and black & red ribbon really topped it off!)
Thank you for sharing these brilliant ideas!! Now I’ll finish watching the remainder of the video… and may have to pause again to create one of your inspiring creations! ❤
I just Love Christmas! I feel like I'm 5 years old again.
Thanks so much. This always gets my daughter who's in high school want to hang out with me and do crafts.
I am loving your ideas. I am not a creative person, but I do love to DIY things. Thank you for the inspiration and great ideas.
These are so cute and very easy to make. I'm not a crafty person, but I could make these diys. The wooden wreath was my favorite.
I love these, great ideas, I'm short on money this year and this helps. I'm 67 and still a Christmas child!
A lot of inspiration packed into this video. My colors for Christmas are burgundy, dusty rose, crystal and Ivory. I like Victorian touches.
High end looks! Love the candle in the tin,and the big wreath!! Beautiful!
Absolutely love the wood bead garland!
You are too kind Geniene ❤️ Happy New year & much love to you my friend!
-Megan
