Totally awesome ! My bobbin tension problems were much worse than this. My bobbin thread was almost completely obscuring the top stitch. Can't wait to get this sorted.
Thank you so much for this video!!! I spent the entire day yesterday cleaning all the parts and adjusting. I watched this video and tweaked the bobbin case and now it seems to be working!
I have the brother psr 100 and when I embroider the needle will hit maybe 3 or 4x but the thread will never stay on the shirt. Then I get the check the top and bottom bobbin error message. When I look up under the shirt it's nesting bad but I dnt see any bobbin thread. I checked bobbin, swapped it, rethreaded the machine multiple times. I still keep getting the same error message. Plz help 😤 Update: it turns out that it is was off timing, and I had to get some new parts as well. Whole thing cost around $400 😬. I saw a video on yt on how to do it but I didn't want to take the chance.
All day yesterday...Two needles had bobbin thread coming up....other needles fine!!! I changed those needles...still same...why those two and not others?? Aggravating! 😢
Hey, not sure if anyone can help but I have a pe800 and even when I tightened the bobbin all the way and the tension on top is a 0, the bobbin thread continues to show on top. Does anyone know why?
Ugh why don't they just give is pre adjusted bobbins. In what scenario ever would you want your bottom thread to show through the top? 😂 Also I need some help, a few hours ago I adjusted the tension on my machine and it was working great, then after I was done using it I turned it off and I left for a bit. I came back a few hours later to make another embroidery design and all of a sudden my bobbin thread was showing again even though I had already adjusted it a couple of hours prior. Is this normal? Am I supposed to re-adjust it every. Single. Time? Or is there a way to prevent this? What should my top thread tension be?
It is different on every machine. The bobbin does start at the correct tension and then just general wear and use makes the screw loosen a tiny bit. You should not have to do it every time you use your machine
Mine was so bad, there was more bobbin than thread. So thank you!
