This is exactly what I needed!!! Thank you! I’m applying for a simple licence. My radios will be used a Rotary Charity events whether a Car Show or a Local Gala etc so was already leaning towards being legal. Your “don’t get caught” comment made me laugh. You have been a fantastic help! Happy Transmissions my friend. 👍
You're most welcome. I try you to the KISS acronym when making videos. I don't saturate everything with music and like to present my content as I'd like to view it. The spectrum simple licence is easy to apply for, and it has a long validity period and cost effective in my opinion. A top tip for radio use within a group that may be of help: get a label printer and add the channel number and place it on the radio similar to where mine are shown within the video. Many novice users in groups twiddle knobs and loose track of what channel they are on. Also, create a 2nd channel for emergency use if you have first aid or fire cover. Kind regards Austin
@@AW-Services that’s another great tip! I’d not thought of a back up emergency Chanel. Ideal where we operate in high footfall events. I will let you know how I get on through the summer.
Good info bro. I have a baofeng. But no license yet. When I git time. I will get it. Cheers 🍻 mate
