My great great grandparents are buried here. My father's father's father's father. The direct male line. James Helliwell died in 1913 aged 68/69 and his wife Martha in 1916. I hope to visit one day. Their son, Thomas William, my g grandfather, published a book of poetry to help fund a new organ for the Chapel in about 1905. Some of it is humorous, some religious, and a bit of a difficult read. Thank you so much for posting. The views really gave me a sense of the land they farmed and how beautiful but harsh life must have been trying to make a living from the land. All of James and Martha's 9 children who survived to adulthood moved off the land. He was the last generation to farm it.
