honestly the ea500lm feels as well more colored than the regular ea500, idk as well if its the sound but like when both of them played at the same time my attention wasnjust drawned to the LMs
Is it a real sound comparison? Lm obviously sounds clearer and higher in sound contrast ( higher in resolution ), however it seems a bit too obvious to me, making me feel the comparison is intentionally promotional for lm. I own an ea500, and my ea500 generally sounds clearer and is more resolutive than the one in the sound comparison.
The recorded sound is definitely not the same clarity as what the ear can hear. I used the same audio source and volume when recording these two comparisons. The point is for you to hear the difference, but reproduction is certainly not guaranteed.
That was not a great way to compare. Play the same part of the song in both iems. Also in the end, you should play each iem for 10 seconds sequentially for 1 to 2 minutes giving the ears a quick glance at each tuning. Anyways, The LM sounded musical and lively to me.
As we can hear the left and right comparison, obviously right volume is bigger than left, doesn't it ? How can we make the two different earphones same volume?
When recording these two IEMs, I purposely keep the same volume of the source, and the difference in the playback volume can reflect the comparison of the driving ability of the two IEMs. A louder sound proves a better drive.
@@linsoulaudio It says the impedance of ea500 lm is 21Ω. The impedance of ea500 is 16Ω. Usually the higher impedance signifies lower volume. I am wondering why?

Ah it's this video!
Thank you for publishing this! I must say that the left side after 2:46 didn't work for me.
it works for me, just feels like the focus is on the LM because of it having more bass, makes it feel like it has more details and things going on
Yeah the right side seemed louder So I don't know if they were volume matched or the additional bass is filling it out more.

I love these comparisons! Thanks for making these. What is that device you use to record the sound of the iems?
