Awesome review. Michael's videos are great, and I always appreciate his honest opinions. He also listens to metal, so his tuning choices are invaluable to the hobby. There are too many IEMs on the market that were tuned in a way where they only sound good with 1 genre or a few genres of music. Metal is one of the genres that is ignored far too often.
Thank you to both of you for sharing and hilighting Michael's work and contributions over the years. Few people can match Michael's depth of all things in the hobby and I always look forward to listening to his planar mods between reviews.
Symphony ears is a DIY from a college kid with a 3d printer. I took a shot to help out an up and commer and was pleasantly supprised with the build quality and sound quality for the price. I will probably do the same for Michael depending on the price but to me its fun to explore the efforts of start up DIY efforts usually one man operations. I also have the Thor Moljinar Mk2 which is also DIY from Singapore and is one of my favorite single dynamic driver iems. I believe Elysian Aucustics was also started as a DIY one man operation, so best of luck and I look foward to seeing the Anomalie in the future.
IEM's are an achievable product for a one-man DIY'er (albeit a big challenge) and it's really fun to see these bedroom projects turn into legit businesses. Zempire is another one worth checking out.
What an awesome video!! Michael Bruce is clearly brilliant, and you’re an excellent interviewer, James! Absolutely love content like this, thanks for sharing 🤘
Grateful to have Michael in the hobby!!! Wish him every success....
Michael Bruce! The man, the myth, the legend. Love his modded IEMs.
Thanks for the interview James! I honestly had a blast chatting.
