Hey man, I've been watching your videos for a while and they are always really well done. I really enjoy your content. :) Since I've been doing a lot of research on rogues the last couple of months, I have some things to point out: 1 - You need 9% hit to not miss with 300 weapon skill with yellow attacks. As a weapon rogue, which you will usually play in raids, you'll have 305 weapon skill and thus only need 6% hit. 2 - 308 weapon skill is the sweet spot. According to the calculations I've read, with 308 weapon skill you reduce the damage reduction of glancing blows by the maximum amount. So any point above 308 is not really doing much for your DPS. Getting 305 is the crucial value for hit (and glancing blows damage), though. 3 - Enchants are different for daggers spec. If you go with daggers, you should go with +dmg on your MH and Crusader on the OH (+15 Agi on OH later). The way the skills scale with weapon damage, the MH-damage is really important. 4 - As for stealth openers: It might be good to open with cheap shot because it nets you 2 CPs. Unless you don't get the CP because the boss is immune to stun, I wasn't able to test that, yet. Otherwise, keep up the great work! Edit: I clarified and corrected my first point.
@@kyu963 Yes, if the calculations are correct. I just looked for the source of my information and found this again: github.com/magey/classic-warrior/wiki/Attack-table The parts about glancing blows and weapon skills are the important ones. To use the weapon skill table you do this: Take the mobs defense, which we'll assume is 3 levels higher than you...so 315 and subtract your weapon skill. So if you were at 308 weapon skill and got 5% from precision you'd only need 1% more hit rating which you could easily get from gear, like a single blackstone ring. But this is only the cap for yellow hits, most of your damage in raids are going to be your autos so you should go above that since dw'ing takes a hefty penalty. You'll probably be looking really at about 14% hit rating, which will be able 13% when you are fighting level 63 mobs. Just to take into account your white damage.

@@MF_Zurg No, there are no working training dummies in Classic on the official servers
I've also heard that putting a faster weapon in your OH doesn't make a difference because all weapons are balance by a procs per minute system will result in the same net damage. Thoughts?
I think this is true. Feels cooler though haha. Point being put the slower weapon in MH and faster weapon in OH.
Instant poison is a straight % chance...so the faster the weapon the better. I run a fast dagger in the offhand with instant poison, and a sword in the mainhand also with instant.
in classic, what ramson cole is saying is true. It does matter if u have a faster weapon in your offhand cause it will proc more often. In later updates it got patched so that it was based on a ppm(proc per minute) instead, and after that patch, it didnt make a diffence anymore weather u had a slow or fast offhand. But it classic, as i said, it does matter.
Looks like I'm little late to the party, but yes. However it's still worth putting your slower weapon in your MH because of sinister strike.
@@Martin.mattsson But only up until 1.07 or so. I can't remember the precise patch. But yeah, after that, it wasn't quite so crucial that you had the fastest weapon possible on your offhand.
Arent hit cap is 9% + 5% from talent = 14% ? Or 4% + 5% from talent = 9%
9% total. However you get it.
Sora Sky u can never get too mich cap. I tried getting 9% and 14% hit. The more hit u have the less u miss. I also have full cadav set so I have a lot of AP. Crusader procs more w/ 14%hit I noticed.
@@jauxed By going for anymore hit than 9%, you're sacrificing other stats that'll boost your DPS more than the extra hit % will.
Fan-dabbie-dozy you said it wrong.
Why no riposte? I feel this is good for levelling? Would you not recommend for end game?
It is great for levelling, but in raids and dungeons you should never get in a situation where you can use it anyways. So it becomes obsolete. It might be decent for PvP though, but I am not sure
@@claudiuscanalis6242 its not good in pvp becaues any melee with half a brain will have weapon chain
@@tekenertehee Any player with half a brain knows you take riposte for the insane damage it does for 10 energy, even if they have a weapon chain....
@@BishopNE1 this is a prebis dungeon farming spec. If you use riposte while farming prebis you're doing something wrong. Also in pvp if you're using riposte for damage you're just bad at the game.
You sound much like Lewis Capaldi, great video btw!
I’ll never understand why Blizz didn’t give mace or Axe specialization to dwarves 🤦🏻♂️
Or a mining skill bonus since they're supposed to live in the mountains in most fantasy books
Cant dual wield Mirah's song as its a quest item. You can only have 1 of them.

I can't get it how people may analyze dozens of unnecessary Excel-sheets so that only to spam three buttons more effectively. Vanilla WoW is a freaking huge fake.
Don't see the point in imp gouge, just take extra 3% dodge

Why do content creators make videos on topics and classes they don't understand?
