I'm on tour around the UK and Ireland in Spring of 2025, come and watch me play live: linktr.ee/chrisbrainmusic This is a new tuning that I have recently discovered and fallen in love with!
When a song is a legendary classic in the very lifetime of the composer….again…..he has several doesn’t he? I’d attend if it was wasn’t in another part of the world so far!
Beautiful Chris. I have just returned from playing myself at a nursing home, free, for the residents, and this is the perfect welcome home. Looking forward to seeing you play live if any of your tour dates are around the Lincolnshire or south Yorkshire area.
Incredibly beautiful cover, Chris! You made it your own! Freewheelin' is the perfect autumn album. Great job! What guitar are you playing out of interest?
Wow! This is really quite beautiful, Chris! I love your unique and lyrical interpretation of this Dylan Classic! Would you be kind enough to share the tuning with us? I would like to play the song the way you do it.
High strung or "Nashville tuning" . Take a 12 string set and string up an acoustic with just the skinny strings... all the strings will be in a higher register except the typical high E and B strings which remain the same... here the fingerpicking pattern sounds otherworldly because of the jump in octaves that the tuning offers... I love this, sounds great
I hope that one day you find inner peace. This is a beautiful rendition. Maybe there will be a time in your life where you will be able to see things truly for what they are and not what reflects your broken spirit. Live in hope.
@@raywhyment5487 Ahhhhh,,are you lonely? Are you sem friends and comrades?.Ye poor fukker,,,nuttin to do in life, so ye sit around making up scenarios for other people lives.I do feel sorry for ya, but be warned , if you write rubbish to me again I will refer to you as the septic discharge from the boils in Putins and Trumps sphincters. Now,,,concentrate,,,imagine you are clinging to the right wing of a DC 3 in flight, ,,,slowly breath in as your fingers give up and you begin to fall to the ground. You will be asleep before you shatter the ground because no one wants to be awake for this kind of destruction. Jus sayin is all.
Babe wake up, Chris Brain uploaded.
Since I heard the first seconds, I fell in love with your tune. You remind me a lot of Nick Drake and his music.
This isn't his tune, but it is a lovely song and a great cover.
Wonderful song and cover.
Have to say, I just loved everything about this rendition of a classic. Bravo!

One of the middles is an octave up maybe?

Looks like you're up at the Crag. Love that place.
Yes, thats definitely Almscliffe Crag. Amazing location.

@@ChrisBrainMusic 🙂👍
Yes. !
Fine cover of a classic Chris ...what model of guitar is that...like your fingerstyle on this..
Is there an overdub or is that all coming from one guitar? So jangly!
Its just 1 guitar! x
@@ChrisBrainMusic Sounds terrific.
@@ChrisBrainMusic What's the tuning?
Nashville tuning? Superb cover
🌈
What a great version Chris ! Please please please can I ask what tuning are you using ? Many thanks !
What's the new tuning Chris?
I think it is Nashville tuning. Same as Holocene and Hazelton
Great vocal, is that Nashville tuning ?
Sounds like Drake was playing a guitar celeste and tributing Bob!
incredible rendition! what's the tuning?

Oh boy, that’s way too complicated.
@@caseyhooper4779 hell yeah! thank you.
Why do I hear a little bit of Gordon Lightfoot in the singing and overall style?
Is that Nashville tuning? :)
Am I just seeing things or did you change your hair color??🤔
Seeing thing! :) x
@@ChrisBrainMusic Well, I gotta say it looks a fair bit darker here, but that aside great stuff keep it up. :)
Is your surname really Brain 🧠?
I dont like how you have fekked up the lyric delivery. Translate fekked as f u c k e d
Don't cry about it x
