Since you like the VNI you should look into the arbitrator covert ops. Especially when the weapon disruptor comes out soon too. You might be surprised about it.
I honestly think that the Stabber should be at least as high as the vexor, since you virtually take no damage at all, whatever the anomaly level (except maybe when higher tier minmatar ones, where hurricanes can hit you from tremendous ranges)

I agree with 99% of your list, although i'd swap the ONI for the Maller. I basically AFK T8 anoms in it. Cant do that in the ONI. Keep up the awesome content!

One ship I realize might sound strange to place on the this list but could be a strong contender (covering a wide range of mission teirs with minimal investment) would be the Caracal Trainer. I realize hearing a trainer on this list might sound nuts but the fact is, as a bomber main, the fact that the caracal trainer can effectively be used as a stepping stone between from cruiser command three (chipped) to Cyclone with low cost investment and still solo t7 story missions (until the mission rework at least) is huge, even of only focusing on kiting with AB and missile range.
Was there a big update between this video and now because the graphics look really different and the bonuses and skills they scale off of are different.
I'm genuinely considering building the Phantasm. I recently managed to snag two blueprints for 1 million a piece, through a little market swindling. By all accounts everything I've heard about it says that it is an absolute monster. Now hearing it from you reinforces those statements. I just have a hard time justifying all that extra time mining to build a singular ship.
you also need to take into consideration of the fittings. the ship cost 1.4B to buy with pure ISK but the rig itself cost like 100-150m per item so we talk totally around 1.5B to fitt it properly. i use a phantasm and ive spent up to 3B to fitt it properly. and ye i can basically T10 i can fight multiple players same time its a nice ship but you need to be able to spend on it. have a good PvE ship with drones to do missions and get the ISK
I had the same Discussion with myself before going to the Phantasm. I'm Multiboxing and decided to go for Phantasm and Prophecy. It's just nuts. The Phantasm can facetank T8 Deadspaces with no Problem at all and the Prophecy sits inside of the Bubble and dishes out 1.3k dps. If i would have to decide for one ship it would be the Cactus. 150k EHP travelling with 1.6k speed while having 500dps is just beyond broken. Would say it needs a buff :P
I recently started playing EE, but spent 15 years in EO. My main toon, speed ran right into the Gila because...duh imo. But then I started some alts, 3 specifically. They ended up in the modified coercers and idk, I have always loved seeing lasers, but I've been a drone fangirl most of my life smh, half of it really. So I was heading into putting the alts into gilas. But like, new game, new me. The entire list I was like "I mean, I'm still gonna grab the gila. Oh, a prophecy? Hmm, I was already leaning onto lasers, but only 1 drone?! How will they manage?! Wait. What's that?" This comment being 2 years after the video was made I instantly snapped over to EE to check the phantasm, because, there is NO WAY it wasn't nerfed...holy cow it was not nerfed not a bit! So, welp, settled then, if I was already gonna spend that money on a gila night as well go...bigger and better. My gila clears just fine on my main, but I can't wait to see what the phantasm looks like and know what, I don't really feel like managing drones anyway.
no one talk about kill speed? encounters reset timer are quite short drone? why not covert ops hit and warp away a thousand times in 2 hours just finish an encounter? just the same correct? where kill speed not a factor

Great list only 2 I would add are the hurricane and harbinger proto in the same spots as SFI and ONI saying if you can afford the cost they are the slower higher DPS versions of the 2 ships.
What is better would you say, prophecy command or prophecy? I'm currently advanced BC lvl 5 but not advanced medium drone upgrade, so I benefit from 200% damage bonus on command but 1 less drone and 1 less low slot, whereas standard prophecy gets 120% damage bonus with my skills.

Actually Cynabal is strong against T10. I can solo T10 bad hare in 2.5 hrs (inclusive travel time). Tanking wise, it’s even easier for T10 compared to T8 due to small radius and fast speed (vs large weapon). The only thing is last wave elite raven I killed one on one, the rest just auto and clear. Also Cynabal’s travel time is much shorter than bc if you go for G, M or A missions which are far from Jita (supposed you buy story book there). I don’t regret I head into Cynabal while meta are largely the drone ship

I got a Phantasm after watching you tube vids on it. im having trouble with t8 story. havent been brave enough to try a t10. i take a lot of damage. the shield field confuses me. i seem to take more damage when i use it not less. not sure what im doing wrong.

If you are an alpha clone player, you can use t6 cruiser ships that have bonuses for not advanced skills: moa(caldary), rupture(minmatar), maller(amarr) and thorax(gallente). The best option above is the moa, because it has the best bonuses for rifled railguns. Rupture is good in close combat with autocannons. And maller can be effective in both scenarios. Anyway, i suggest you to buy omega for 170, its not that expensive, and is totally worth it, because you can use advanced skills and fly any ship you can afford.
If you are looking at cost effectiveness, I'm surprised you didn't include the Tristan. It can take T6 and T7 anomalies, albeit very slowly, but it can do them and that's kind of ridiculous for a T3 frigate that you can insure and honestly don't have to invest too much SP into getting up to that level. You mentioned how drones were king, so I think Tristan should be on this list, probably over the Condor2/Slasher2.
Okay, 1k isk per hour is a bit exaggerated. The reason it takes a long time is because there is a lot of HP to chew through with small weaponry. You end up making about 1M/hr from bounties, more if there is good loot, but it works out really well if your potential downside is like 100k. I guess I'm looking at it from the standpoint of starting out, you probably don't have 60M-80M to invest in a nicely fitted cruiser to go cut through these anoms like paper. So here is something you can start building up the isk to do that with, but with very little potential downside.
if you are talking about shooting from extreme range with strike cannons, hurricane is a straight up upgrade for stabber fleet issue. so in the tier should be around that. it plays exactly the same, much slower of course, but better range and damage due to the role bonus and the additonal slot. you can easily put 3 trackig computer to hurricane, even after the module penalty is already fixed, you can comfotably shooting from 70-80 km range, and 140-150km range when all three computers are on
The hurricane prototype is a slightly buffer version of the SFI. Less effective than the Cyclone and Prophecy by quite the margin, but it's a complete beast especially when unwanted guests disturb you when you're ratting.
I have been using the hurricane and can do T8 missions afk for the most part. I can do Disaster Relief in about 45mins, however from the comments sounds like other ships could do it better / faster?

I keep at about 50km, when speed elites arrive i just manually boost out with mwd and kill them separately. (double click a direction) After any speedy elites are done i just approach at 50km and kill everything

Kite the elites out first, burn the webbers first, have an ab to 'speed tank' most of battleship damage, for non elite, just stay at max 70+km drone range all the time as long as not facing tornado, you're safe from any shots from large guns there. Haven't try the strat for it, but doable P.S One of the guy from my corps said not to web the elite battleship, since they're mwd too fast for their weapon to be effective, but would rain death once webbed. P.S.S that guy does soloed friends by blood using a maller, so it's more doable with a cruiser(note: you can get the armor res up to like 80% EM res and 72ish% thermal res on it so it'll shrug of most laser damage with no problem)

I would argue that the Kestrel deserves to be on this list. It's dirt cheap, you can get it on the first day of playing, and it can solo tons of anomalies. Just today I took a Kestrel with mk5 small missiles, a mk5 afterburner, and a mk5 shield booster out to do a t7, and beat it without taking a single point of shield damage. The bounties for the first wave alone were worth far more than my entire ship. It also requires *literally* no skill to play; all you have to do it kite away at 20-ish km and you'll never get hit. A great ship for even the noobiest of players. I'd also like to point out that my PvP and even PvE skills are atrocious. I'm normally a miner, so I don't normally get a lot of experience with that stuff. Starting to get more interested in it though, and the Kestrel was an amazing starting point :)

I advise get the basic omega first as it’s only 170 plex (about 60mil, close to the CNI) then get a navy issue and run missions until you can afford duo.

Phantasm prices are just going up now and will probably get a nerf in the future lol. I am using it now and it's very strong.
Try making it yourself...it really costs very less then what people are selling it for...to give you an idea it's less then 1b.

Just today I took a Kestrel with mk5 small missiles, a mk5 afterburner, and a mk5 shield booster out to do a t7, and beat it without taking a single point of shield damage. The bounties for the first wave alone were worth far more than my entire ship. It also requires *literally* no skill to play; all you have to do it kite away at 20-ish km and you'll never get hit. A great ship for even the noobiest of players.
I'd also like to point out that my PvP and even PvE skills are atrocious. I'm normally a miner, so I don't normally get a lot of experience with that stuff. Starting to get more interested in it though, and the Kestrel was an amazing starting point :)

i literally stopped playing since the recent update because they screwed tracking computer. i missed shooting from 150km range with hurricane proto :/

I prefer CNI over the VNI I dual run CNI, I smash through t8s, and I just don’t like ranged fights, just not my preference.

So I’m not an omega clone what happens if I get a navy issue but obviously can’t skill into the advanced skills do I miss out on the bonuses the ships have to offer completely so would it make more sense for an omega to stick to standard ships at tech 5i

Spend your isk on Plex instead. Omega is worth far more.
I advise get the basic omega first as it’s only 170 plex (about 60mil, close to the CNI) then get a navy issue and run missions until you can afford duo.
