THE best video I’ve seen on speed tanking so far. Finally someone covers all the bases, emphasizing what will kill you (ie 06:00 dual webs) while doing it. When I first tried speed tanking a while ago on a condor II within a T5 Caldari mission, I kept nearly getting killed ASAP. I kept wondering what I was doing wrong until I realized I was continually getting missions where I was being dual webbed on the first wave. This is extremely rare to happen, yet it repeatedly happening to me for this character (yet my alt with a slasher II in a similar T5 Caldari mission would have no problems cuz they weren’t get webbed at all). Once I figured it was the dual webs getting me nearly killed, speed tanking has become so much easier. I just kite a bit to separate stuff and avoid two webs at once. Getting webbed once for me now isn’t a big deal but I think that’s because my skills are high enough to compensate. If you’re just starting out though and haven’t even maxed your basic frigate and afterburner skills, you might still get damaged. Once your skills are high enough, it shouldn’t be an issue. PS. Looking forward to getting a Hound and trying out speed tanking on it as well.
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I would love any help you can offer me.
@Marcel Kayden i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm trying it out atm. Takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.

Great video. I can solo t10 anomalies in frigates. It's funny how the higher the lvl the easier it gets. Less ships to web you. My only problem is the cargo hold... Can't even loot all large anomalies and have to go back to station constantly.
@@alexandrevieira3190 I don't know how long does it take I just know that I get 2.1 to 2.5m ticks per bounty (20 min). My dps is 424.50 atm. When I run scout and inquisitor I usually get very far from the mobs and kill the elites 1st. They are the ones that get to me faster.
Wow, here i thought my condor 2 was a beast since I clear tier 7 anoms solo in it, but I have been orbiting wrong set at 20km orbit as I thought being further out for some reason would amplify better with the speed and making opponents miss. After watching this I can't believe how I looked at it that way! Thank you for this, bc this will just make that an even more loved ship!
Webifiers are doom, but in t7 anomalies ships that have webs, if prioritized, can be killed 1 by 1 quickly, though you might have to jump away and back to re-engage. In PVP, you can usually live with 1 web on you, if its typical mk5 web, and your max speed is 1600-1700+, though depends on what is shooting at you.
this is quite literally how rocket science works. my brain is not big enough for rocket science. all I know is that the faster you are and the closer you are, the higher tracking speed you need to hit something. plus there's the fact that we can only currently guesstimate our enemy's speed because that information is *simply not viewable right now.* All info we can see from enemies is their distance and the status of their shields/armor/structure, and what weapons/modules they may have based on visual cues. So we can't really use the formula to find out the ideal range to keep our enemies in.
What system are you playing this on? Are you using bluestacks? And no idea where those custom menu choices come from. You're holding out on us, sir. ;-)
Do you have any videos planned explaining how to set up preferences in the overview? I poked around in there a little bit but was pretty much immediately overwhelmed with options that made no sense. I've been just using the defaults since the game launched and it feels like A lot of situations would go more smoothly if it was customized but it feels like voodoo.
Love my frigates, though lost tons of them the latest trying to solo a lvl 7 dead space. Only cheap gear so I can just have fun with out fear of being killed and losing millions
The only problem when doing speed tank with close range weapon in t5-6 encounters is when the rats are group up and you got webbed then other rats are gank you lol
Get them to spread out by warping in at distance and either burning away slowly or orbiting at max range and letting the faster ships come to you. Not recommended for story missions in a solo frigate though.
So if angular = tracking speed means 50% hit chance at 40% damage reduction, how does that change over increasing tracking speed towards 100% hit with full damage?
It's an insanely complex formula that would need a video on its own but 50% hit chance with 40% damage is bad so you jsut want to ensure you're at least 2x tracking speed
i think of lowering my inertia with rigs, does it help me to speed tank better while orbiting? since i never see any gear for lowering signature, thanks
I think I should invest my skills in frigates instead of bc.. especially now due to gate camping becoming so common in low sec... I really want to do high lvl story missions but can't go to low sec in my cruiser due to gate camping.... I already lost my caracal navy issue due to gate camping.. any tips would be appreciated
Story Missions with speed tanking frigate really tough because of elites. You can just scout the path to the story mission system and make sure it’s camp free.
omg... this video is soooo awesome. i was frustrated with my short range railgun. now its finally making sense lol. btw how is the calculation of 2 webifier application on 1 ship? my assumption is its 100% x 50% x 50%. not 100% x (50+50)%. so 2 webifier would put you down to roughly 25% speed.

The problem is - as soon as you are webbed 1 small shield booster can't keep up with incoming damage.
If you invest in a good one like a veteran it sometimes can, depends on the number of ships shooting at you

I have been doing this for a while now and did small 7 by myself and a inq lv 5 with a friend and it's fun...
is there a resource for average anomaly bounty value (NOT loot) by tier? Specifically, the value in bounties of an average t10 and various sizes?
What do you recommend as an orbit distance for close range ships like this or nosferatu fits on fast cruisers?
Could you share your hardware configuration? Are you using blue stacks to play EE? Which laptop are you playing on?
You had me at .... Transversal Velocity
There is no dealer small afterburner, you meant smuggler?
