Congrats! I bought an unassembled arcade cabinet and it was a big job to graphically wrap, t-mold, and assemble, so kudos for doing everything yourself!!
It's your jigsaw that cause the chipping. A good Bosch, dewalt etc has blade tilt and blower settings, this way you can tilt the blade back elimatinating chipping on the upstroke. Great video!
@@WhoArted pretty much any air brad nailer, Bosch, Hitachi etc. For a cabinet like that check out kreg fastening, uses pocket screws, very strong www.amazon.com/KREG-KPHJ320-Kreg-Pocket-Hole-Jig/dp/B07VQ9S57K
Well done mate, looks fantastic. I have been looking around for a video that shows exactly what you have done. I also have a Pandora’s box console that I want to make into a full size arcade machine. Any chance you can share your measurements for the cabinet?
Hey thanks for watching. My final video on the cabinet will be uploaded in a couple of days. It's mostly airbrushing the side art but in the video I will talk more about how I built it. The clear coat is drying tonight. I can't wait to fire it up.
I wasn't sure so I ordered one that came with multiple sizes. It was a little more expensive that way. I can tell you the exact size in a couple days when I get back to work.
1/16 slot cutting router bit. 1/2" cutting depth. I didn't put glue in the slot before the trim but, next time I probably will. It comes loose just a little in a couple tight bends.
In the beginning of the video in wich I paint the cabinet, I talk a little about how I measured it. I'll build more and be more specific in my next one.
Sorry, I don't have measurements. It's actually a little crooked if you checked it with a square. Because I'm not a carpenter. It's also quite tall because I'm 6 foot 3 inches tall. I explain in the beginning of the next video how I came up with the design.
What really made this video a cut above the rest is the smooth jazz

I’m soooo glad the price of plywood is back down to pre-pandemic prices… p.s you gotta go slow with the jigsaw to get a straight cut
That music is bonkers lol. People watch these types of videos to relax
What do you recommend?
@@WhoArted Google "royalty free music for videos" and search for "relaxed, chilled , vibes" whatever . Otherwise great video 👍
Nice work! I like the simplicity of those strap mounts.
Formidable work. Congratulations for your project and achievement.
Hugs from Rio de Janeiro (January River)- Brazil
Mastodon in the background, awesome!
I wonder would MDF be easier to cut than plywood. I believe I got this. Thank you for the video.
I hear some Mastodon in the background.
Wow! You sir a genius. And please change those buttons and sticks to Sanwa. Totally worth it!
All sanwa now. Would like to switch from round restrictors to octagon though.

Hey thanks for the tip, I'll check those out. I want to do one out of mdf with no screws. What should I look for in a brad nailer?

could you provide your plans on how to make this, i want to do this with my kids. AWSOME BUiLD
Can't wait till part 2 comes. Great video
Amazing. I just bought me a Pandora system and I want to build my own cabinet
Have fun! There's some great pandoras box groups on Facebook that are full of awesome info and ideas.
I'd love to make one but I'm not sure I have the skill level. I might risk it!!...Great job btw
Use a electric saw next time good job. A 30 grid would be good to smooth the edges.
The jig saw blade makes all the difference. I use a Fine one or it'll splinter wood
Yeah, I learned a lot doing this. Went too fast too. Can't wait to do another one.
Good video
Awesome!!! You need to start your own company!!!!
I would buy this in a heartbeat!!!
great job!

Great built. Wanna make same !
Could you share a copy of your plans? You could post it to a google drive sharable link
That's awesome dude! nice job buddy. (-;
Dude absolutely amazing! Your airbrush skills are amazing. Any chance you could share the plans and dimensions?
Just measure and build everything around the size of your screen. Draw the shape of the cabinet yourself and measure as you go
Are those pandora boxes any good ? I was boing to go with hyperspin or launch box .. but if this works hay ho !
It's not perfect but still fun.
Where are these plans it looks amazing
No plans. I explain how I eyeballed it in my next video
Awesome work! I ordered the same T-molding but I can’t seem to find the correct size bit anywhere. Which one did you use?
I wasn't sure so I ordered one that came with multiple sizes. It was a little more expensive that way. I can tell you the exact size in a couple days when I get back to work.

for someone that isnt a carpenter and does not know the name of a jigsaw has alot of carpentry tools lol
Ha ha, yeah, my shop is in a giant thrift mall. There's tools everywhere. Im used to automotive tools and welding.
MDF wood is the devil how thick was the plywood.
3/4 a bit overkill but, it will last
Best diy build I've seen in a long ass time sir. Look up COINOPS for pc...u will be pleasantly surprised. 🤙🏾💯
I've seen it now as well as others. I'm thinking about doing a raspberry pi cabinet next.
@@WhoArted that would be a nice video
Are there exact measurements?
Any chance for deminsions?
Hey man, I love this cabinet. Any chance you have the dimensions saved or can email me them?
I would love to get the dimensions as well!
In the beginning of the video in wich I paint the cabinet, I talk a little about how I measured it. I'll build more and be more specific in my next one.
Why not MDF wood. But plywood will do.
Mdf is imitation plywood made from sawdust because plywood is expensive. I used real plywood. 10 times stronger.
Can you build a car racing game
That's a great idea!
Can u please send me the measurements

I just blew the one I have can I save it r trash it.
What do you mean "blew up"? Can you please elaborate.
