@Eccentech Nope! Even with the more common Tab S9 videos, there's hardly any mention of the S7 or older. I have, however, heard it mentioned every now and then in the most common Tab S9 Ultra videos

I went to the tab S9 plus 5G from a tab S6 lite - mad happy with this major upgrade 😂

Where the Plus form factor really excels is reading small text (e.g. PDFs, e-textbooks, digital comics, etc) without a bunch of pinching and zooming.
It's just big enough for tiny text, but just small enough to cradle in your arms for long reading or TH-cam sessions on the couch.
I don't do a lot of the things other people do with tablets. I don't play games, i don't watch movies or TV shows.
But for what I do, this is the perfect size. Reading, light office productivity, browsing the news, light social media, TH-cam, email, etc. This thing is perfect, and it's a capable laptop replacement provided you're not doing anything too exotic.

This powerhouse tablet's got a display so smooth it's like a portal to a new dimension. The S Pen feels like a magic wand in my hand, letting me write, draw, and take notes with unmatched precision. Plus, the battery life is a beast, lasting from sunrise to way past sunset. The only downside? With a screen this gorgeous, I might just get hypnotized. But hey, that's a risk I'm willing to take. But to protect that I had to invest in a gadgetshieldz screen and body protection film and it's serving. I would wife up this one if I could

With my Tab S9 Plus I can get up to 7-8 hours with brightness and sound at medium levels (watching movies, surfing the Internet), would that be okay or my battery is terrible?

It is using the same old ~7000 mAh battery I have in my old Tab A7 10.4" - really crappy move from Samsung on this one, recycling leftover batteries. This is a larger display, faster CPU, more RAM, higher resolution tablet - it REALLY needed a bigger battery.

Bro, keep it up playa. You do good work. I have a tab s7 5g and a tab s7plus. Tab s4 and tab a 8.4 2020. Just got the s7 5g for $250.00. Was thinking about trading the s7 plus for the 9 plus,but all i do is entertainment no work, so i think for now im a roll with what i got. Really love that 5g s7. If they come out with another 11inch 5g id probably bite. Take care.

Just like with the ultimate versions of these tablets. You can't even get a 5G one in the USA. You have to order from overseas.
So dumb. The U.S. always gets fucked with this Samsung shit lol.

I bought tne tab 9 and I'm not happy. I kept saying "I'm so smart, I will not pay Apple prices". I'm quite disillusioned. The lack of responsiveness of the screen is a disaster. Some times I have to press the cursor bar 4 times to get there (like for writing this comment). The keyboard is lousy; too many mistakes. Some apps don't work. Face recognition is useless un,essentially you pose passport style. Fingerprint unlocks sometimes, on other ocations you can go till it makes you jse the pin, which is super frustrating. As you can see, the spell Hecker perfectly to.erates multiple,e mistakes. I have tried changing the samsung keyboard for the google keyboard and it's still won't work.. I find myself going back to my first generation Ipad pro Just out of fr 0:23 ustration of so many mistakes. The screen is very good end the note taker is good Not great. Ughhhh I should had bought a new Ipad.
What it really sounds like is you got a dud... because all of those things you mentioned I never really have issues with. Face unlock can be so so but overall it's pretty decent for me. Sorry to hear that man.

Got mine 3 weeks ago, agree with your assessment. Just dont like samsung, sold fold 4, there phones are pretty crap. pixel fold is better but buying tecno foldable .

True... depends on what you're putting on it. Movies and stuff is good with an SD Card.
Samsung, and other manufacturer choices do nothing but baffle me too. I cant believe how they lock the device specs based on what tech it has. I get the higher memory would be more enticing for the loss of the modem, but I would forgo the modem for the better battery life anyway. Like, seriously. These companies need to stop thinking about their pockets and more about the consumers that end up lining their pockets. There can be no brand loyalty to a product that keeps sinking more and more into the garbage bin.
That is a nice tablet still. I dont know if I missed it, but I bet there is no expandable storage. Another huge gripe about all the current phones and tablets lately. I dont care if its slower, to me, it is more secure if the device just dies. I can pop my card out and everything on it is safe.

I'd love for samsung to put that little slot back in the phones. As jank as so.e of the phones can be, data loss is becoming problematic.
