God Is An Astronaut always manages to amaze me with their music. It's truly defining "a picture paints a thousand words"
It doesn't only hit you, it shivers you, stretches you and in the end, you're just at a loss.
This song is perhaps my favorite song in the whole wide world. This brings for me back so many memories from when I was a teenager. I listened to this track over and over and over. Something about it brings me to tears if I really let it. It's really quite magical it has such a powerful effect on me. May peace be with everyone. I pray you find your path and something worth living for.

people always talked to me about music generating emotions, but i never really understood what they meant until i listened to God is an Astronaut; now i understand completely..
In truth, instrumental music has its own beauty and God Is An Astronaut captures every bit of it. Their music always seems to say something in different ways to each individual.
Some people beg to forget. Some people don't remember. You acknowledge and respect: honor the lost, and quench your pain with the remnants of their timeless being, buried yet alive, deep within your very heart.
This track's name is perfect. The first minute or so is your life as it is, then suddenly... you're punched in the face with the distress and turbulent emotions associated with tragedy. It calms down for a few minutes as reality begins to sink in, then grief stabs you in the gut and makes you feel the hurt of loss.
somehow, without words, this tune captures a lot of hope filled moods for me. Today (New years Eve) it's perfect "end of a year" music , it needs to be heard at devastating volume to work, sorry neighbours.

anyone else agree that part of the song is moving beyond comprehension? i honestly feel like i move into.. i don't know, an ethereal state? can't put it into words. it's just amazing.

something about the sound this group just puts me in such a tranquil place. the vision they paint with their music is so vivid and powerful it makes me shake
it feels like the music has just dug deep into my soul and pulled out all the raw emotions. sigh
everytime i wish i just could glide through the deepest minds of mine, hoping to find something peaceful. But i only felt chilled, laid back and watched into the endless eye of the sky, listening to this masterpiece.

I love de first calm riff.... Then start the strong riff suddenly.When it comes back to the other calm riff I feel like the music lost something... It's all cool and calm again, but there is a loss in the melody. Really sweet

I got a question. I just recently obtained the remastered version of this. Is it just me or is the unmastered version (this version) slightly better? I don't know, it might just be something I'm making up, but it would be cool to get some thoughts about this.
