- The ship accidentally pulls a prison capsule out of its orbit and causes it to crash-land on a planet. Its contents: a dangerous female robot with the power to destroy entire civilizations. The Robinsons would be happy to help recapture it, but their robot has fallen in love with it and is protecting it from prying eyes.

The part when Smith makes the Robot cry is one of the best scenes of the entire series. Good comedy.
Repurposed prop. The laser rifle used in this episode was originally seen in Fantastic Voyage. It was cut in half and mounted on that shield. The prop was recently auctioned off and shown that the two halves had not been reattached.
Irwin Allen was known for repurposing, using kitchen utensils, etc.

Some law enforcement they are. They attack first and ask questions later. Their department would have been sued for sure. Still, this is one of my favorite episodes from the 3rd season.

Guy Williams made so much money from Zorro and then LIS that he retired right after the series ended. Not sad at all.
This would be 1999 by the show's timeline, but the double gender standard still exists. Will is the youngest of them all, yet he's outside with the men. The women stay inside as the second line of defense. Smith, never one for bravery, stays inside with the women.
