This extended intro is everything, so groovy, this band can do no wrong
They did it in Albuquerque at Sister Bar in 2014 because I asked them to while drinking a beer with them...just the intro without the rest of the song and then led into Busman's Holiday LOL. It's on youtube. I love these guys...so freaking chill and loving in person.
@@Arklay_IshimuraCan you link the vid? I love the extended intro so much
I search far and wide for vibes like this.
lay some more on me. im a wanderer myself
@@pabze if you guys are looking for GOD TIER vibes check out front man's Miles Michaud's radio show "Reverberation Radio" there is a seemingly infinite supply of kick ass world music
Listen to this. I think it’s similar: The Surfdusters
the growlers
PONTA PRETA ! French dudes u can’t be disappointed ❤️💗
voice crack on first line hahaha, these guys are great.
Allah Las has always had a unique/killer/retro vibe. Makes my ears beg for more in 2020 (Edit) & beyond.
I mean you could just listen to anything else from the 60s and 70s 🤣
@@JoshDRivia I'm 65 yo so I have listened to a lot of the oldies. Allah-Las put out a fresh take on the music I grew up with, esp. psych rock. Please be safe in these chaotic times.
@@LenapeSF yeh they sound good, very nostalgic. I'm a 90s lad so I missed this kind of stuff. Lot of times I wished I lived through this sort of music. You too pal
Check out The Nude Party. Great band that sound like early stones.
@@jakesmith9264 Awesome! That's my Fri. nite project. TY, greetings from OK & please be safe. These are weird times we live in.
Walking around the house rocking my kid to sleep, and after a long day, this is just what I needed to hear to close the night with a smile.
THIS SONG IS SO GOOOOODD
I will play this on my own. Catamaran one day.
Jacob Fisher hell yeah man
God bless you brother, yes you will

damn, I keep listening to it!
Dude I just found their band right now, and god damn is it good!!!

Wat an awesome intro!
intro is fire
who loves the sun, sweet jane, some kind of love, beggining to see the light...man trust me a huge VU fan i have listened to all of their albums its very common to see VU influence in modern bands they were great
I want the Allah La's to form one of those super mega band things with The Growlers
Matthew Alistair and then hit the road with Pavement, BRMC, and the Brian Jonestown Massacre.
Lmao yes and mystic braves with the buttertones
the growlers are SHIT!
@@averagejoegrows the shit*
Both fantastic bands and when they would played together live maybe all of us would be in heaven with love and rhythm and sex and peace, and rock roll.. 😎😂😘💋💕😉🎶👌😋🎉🦋🦗✌️🏵️🦋
One of two fav Allah-La's songs...the other being "Sacred Sands."
Been listening to this this week🌻
they have a great sound
love the riff!
Sounds really, really clean
This jam is epic
Just an amazing band
Damn good music....grtz from Belgium

These guys are stoneeeeeeddd
Mcjuggerfat break on through to the other side.
luv that bass man ;0)
The jam!🎉
All right All right,..I'll admit it . Netflix brought me here.
There I said. now i'm gonna go back and keep watching the intro.
Netflix? How? I'm curious.
Same here!
Where is this from?
I think there is a (great) scene in "queen's gambit" with some track by allah-las in the Background.
En mi dosis con Allah-Las !
You're the best
very faithful to the recording. wicked.
I effing LOVE this!
In tune...Out of tune... Red strat...or not a red strat. Surprisingly people still expect studio perfection on a live set. I really don't care it still sounds great to me!
But we can all agree that the maracas guy is flyin high, man.
Dee Ramirez def!!
Dee Ramirez its about breaking through in the music to the other side. Its not always about what the popular want.
Haha this is the best thing ive read today

Come to Paris !!!
Great song Brazil loves you forever
Seen them live yesterday... tremendous! xD
great sound.
Holy fuck, this is amazing.
Richard Ayoade is full of surprises
Looking forward to seeing them play live at Dingwalls in Camden next month
That guy needs a vintage mic.
Spencer Durham sporting the best west coast haircut on the planet
kinda a 60's southern california surfer scene sound
do you know if that style has a name
I would say indie ...but it does have a blues sound to it
they have a nice sound I think
Garage Rock/Surf Rock, just in case you hadn't found the name of the genre yet.
surf rock.
I mean, they're filiming surrounded by bikes. I love them so much makes me travel
Tune it up guys
Connor Ferrand who knew being out of tune could sound so great.
I like the songs, bit iterative of all the 60s shit, but then I'm from the 90s so I've never heard any of it... I dig it good job fellas
Righteous!
This is a great cover band, simulating bands from the 50's ... or rather is pure decadence in popular music.
we need a version with this intro recorded
Ese corte klo me gusta a mi ❤ 2023
❤
i definitely hear some velvet underground here, but none the less quite enjoyable
Out in the water, WhEerRe you gonna find me
dat fiesta red strat
This is Cobain guitar
Killer intro
so sick
Kind of tune you listen to at the beach
It's a Danelectro '59 Bass
Ok so the cat playing the Jaguar… wtf is he using for a pick? Is it a regular pick that he’s holding in an abnormal, super loose way or is he holding a small brush or something? Really cool effect he’s got going with it.
I didn’t know Kramer had a band
gooba gooba
Sexy 60"s Vibe ❤️
nice retro mod from days of psyche gone by. very refreshing.
There was a time when virtuosity of your instrument was important along with knowledge of melody and harmony were important. And then came rock n roll and the skills of a Jr High musician were all you needed.
ha shut up u fucking kook
The drummer is said to weigh in at 164 lbs, half of which are all the drugs flowing through his system.
Me recuerda mucho a 13th Floor Elevators y Roky Erickson
I think the biggest problem here isn't the tuning, but the fact that he has a cherry red strat in a band like allah las
Red Vega Dick Dale used a strat in pretty much everything. Nothing wrong with using a strat in a surf band, especially if the king of surf music used one. Also i don't think it's cherry red at all, it seems to me to be more of a fiesta red or dakota red. Since it has a rosewood neck I'd say it's Dakota red.
AstroSloth im not questioning the strat itself, but the *color* of the strat hahaha strat master race
Hahahhahaha
Its fiesta red. My dad owns one too
These foos are fucking jamming
Is that liam gallagher playin guitar 😂😂😂
More Byrds than Velvet...
Domenico Parziale 13th floor elevators
💃❤️
That fucking bass
I wish they were all in tune :( it sounds like the lead singers guitar is out
Coole Socke... 😂😂😂😂😂😂✌️✌️✌️👌👌👌👏👏👏🎶🎶🎶☯️💋😍🤘🌟🏵️
what's the name of that bass? Looks great
Sounds like The Yardbirds .
ouu yééééééé
Little known fact: "Allah-las" is Arabic for "out of tune."
Now I'm relieved to share the song without worrying
ALLAH-LULZ
Doesn't make sense. Allah means the God in Arabic.
@@perjetesi2811 No shit, Einstein. It's a joke you moon bat.
@@perjetesi2811 Do you frequently have to have jokes explained to you?
What are the chords to intro
Sounds so much like the intro from Polly.
Zenkaliia true
You wanna get those ears looked at then pal; this is about as Velvets as a packet of Monster Munch.

Allah-Las hu akbar, this joke had to be made
They keep having to cancel concerts because of Muslims who are upset with the band name. Recently )August 2017' in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
