- Follow along as I give this rare doll kit a makeover. In this video I take her apart, remove her weighting, strip her paint, remove her hair and give her a good scrubbing. She is ready to start the reborning process .
Oh my goodness! LOL I cut and tweezed every hair for my first stripping. Had no idea this would work!

I have found some pretty gnarly stuff inside of make overs. Cat litter, used socks, trash, bigger shot pellets, recycled glass with many colors full of bits of metal that did cause staining and rust inside the limbs and head.

I hope all is well! I am by no means complaining just concerned after a start into new teaching series...once your back I wanted to ask you about toes n fingers n why can't I get them right!!!!??? Heads r easy skin tones I love playing with (and finally got burnt umber to do the brown mottling layer and I LOVE HOW IT LOOKS!) Your the only one I've seen teaching at least that uses brown mottling I was nervous! But wow!! Now I have two kits all done except for toes fingers they look sloppy n idk I'm going to do what I did to finally get creases from looking gunky I use very thin layers not that super thick mixture except for a very few creases....I got jars not ones u have can't find but close r the small canning jars. I just love how you teach! I also got these last two I made not looking the same color like they were overworked I believe plus a very limited color pallet before having quinaquidone crimson and blush lip nail color n purples oh my,!! I was mixing ones from ethnic kit I'd bought years prior not knowing ethnic is not cool to start with!! Plus I got air dry sets n respect air dry artists it's so unforgiving!!
I have been preoccupied with a granddaughters birthday and daughter in laws graduation. And working on packing so we can stage our house for our move soon.
I’m going to try to do a few layers today. Fingers crossed. 🤞
