    Simple! Get yourself to Circular Quay in the City, and buy a return ticket on the Manly ferry. For less than $20 you get a leisurely 20 minute cruise on the best harbour in the world. You'll see uninterrupted views of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour Bridge. then the magnificent Harbour, terminating at the great Manly Beach. Relax and check out the surf, and enjoy an ice cream or some fish and chips, then head back. THE BEST $20 you will ever spend.

    Marrickville Pork Roll's orignal store is in Marrickville and the one I'd recommend to go to. Totally agree that the bread makes or breaks it.

      Thanks for the clarification. I guess it only makes sense that the original storefront would be in Marrickville itself :)

    If you want a decent Pork Roll at half the price you spent here, travel out to Hurstville station and walk the Main Street east to the local Pork roll and bread shop. Hurstville is on the Illawarra southern line and is only a couple of stops from Central. Last time I was there the rolls were only $4.50!

    Australia is actually the only country that has its coat of arms on its menu! haha . Not just the Kangaroo as u stated but the emu. Both animals do not walk backwards , which is symbolic of Australia moving forward. The other thing with the pylon on the Sydney Harbor bridge is u pay a small fee of around $ 30 to walk up the 200 steps. What u were referencing was the bridge climb which takes u to the very top of the bridge, but u wear a harness and u climb with a group. Appreciate you sharing your videos and have a safe and happy journey. One last thing to mention is Ballarat in Victoria , u have the oldest continuous Chinese community outside of mainland China. Many Chinese arrived there in the 19th century during the height of the Gold rush period.

      Thank you for watching my video in its entirety and for sharing the insights and clarifications you did. Perhaps Victoria is a place we can check out some day. Thanks again!

    Sydney is a good place to live, work, raise a family and although it is very expensive, the earning potential is also good. It is also a very boring city to live in with not much to do other than eat out and go to the beach in the summer.

      It's not Sydney that's boring, if you get bored here that's because you are boring not the city.

    It's Mrs Macquarie's Chair rather than Point. Mrs Macquarie was the wife of an early colonial governor, and the story is that she used walk to the chair-like rock most days just to look at the view. I wonder what she would have thought of all the changes since then.
    And congratulations on pronouncing "Quay" correctly. Many US tourists don't manage that

    • @fomoyolotravel
      @fomoyolotravel  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for those insights. The word "quay" is more foreign to US folks for sure. I butchered it myself when I first moved to Singapore many years ago and called Boat Quay and Clark Quay "kway"

    20:39 Unfortunately, Marrickville BanhMi is over rated. As we see most visitors to Sydney , this BanhMi is on their list. There is far better out there ! As we Sydney siders know where to go for great BanhMi. For a tourist we understand why they have Marrickville because it’s easy to get to.
