    Horace did not “have to” leave the Bulls. He chose to leave the Bulls in free agency. BTW I live in Chicago & once in 1991 or 1992, Horace pulled into a gas station where I was filling my tank. He got out of his car & asked me how to get to the University of Illinois at Chicago arena. We were only 5-6 blocks away, I described the best route to him & he couldn’t have been more polite and more sincerely appreciative.

    He was one of the reasons Lakers was so great that 2000-01 year. He solved the PF problem, someone tough to play along Shaq, helped out with the rebounding. Relieved Shaq. He and Horry made a great pair at PF.

      Pastor Charles Smith
      You guys have the Kevin Love syndrome. A guy has to be tough, sound tough , a guy shouldn't even say another guy looks healthy or is in a good shape. What is freakin wrong with saying someone looks young or healthy ??? I'm not supposed to say it because it sounds gay ? Are you serious ?
      But your know what, Kevin Love asked for Help. Maybe you should try to.

      Luxury Brown yeah you took all that from that mans one sentence? I could go so far as to think you dont respect his opinion because you assume hes white and i assume youre black and you said that because you assume what he said was stereotypical..
      racially...i assume.pretzel logic.

Damn, every time I turned on a game for 20 years almost, Grant was doin damage on the TV. Badass ball player, a real dog. I know this be 3 yrs late, but just came across this.

    You could put any team of legends with Jordan, and they will all concede that Jordan is their leader and their best player. That is the difference, there is no grey area, or unknown, it was just a fact. That is why those teams with Shaq had issues. They couldn't work it out. That shit needs to be worked out. Jordan made sure Pippen knew and accepted his role, and he accepted his challenge openly. But Pippen knew Jordan was better so he had to play 2nd man, but he didn't go crying about it to another team. That is a true man and Legend right there. So many other players are little bitches, not Pippen, not Horace. Class and value all the way.

      Pippen did most of the dirty work and was instrumental in creating the dynasty.He's one of the best two- way players in NBA History,and several pundits consider him the greatest defender of all time.Jordan and Pippen were seemingly always connected on the court and knew how to dominate a game both offensively and defensively.Jordan and Pippen trained with each other to be the best.They have a high level of respect for each other on the court.Everyone could see the chemistry they had on the court as well.Jordan and Pippen are recognized as the greatest duo in NBA History

    If you watch Horace Grant's highlight tape - it's all dunks from Jordan assist. But Horace ran the floor, rebounded well, was athletic, played defense and could hit open shots

      Steven Feinberg His interior defense also bailed Jordan out repeatedly when Jordan gambled for a steal and got beat by his man, which happened quite frequently.

      Haters like Enyinwa will never ever feel the Joy of watching someone who is a once in a lifetime player,. Until now no one can do those MJ hangtime moves as consistent as MJ did. that dude gave the FANS more than what they PAID FOR,. played all 82 games MOST of his career,. insisted on playing even if there was a RISK to be REINJURED,.the NBA had to CHANGE rules that would allow PLAYERS to be able to Score like MJ but still no one ever came Close,. No matter how you TWIST things, you might never again see someone so GREAT he CATAPULTED an ENTIRE League into a GLOBAL CRAZE,. Jordan never went for the stats,. he was playing to compete and Dominate, not to pile stats..the dude retired at his PEAK because there was no more competition and he felt he was losing the LOVE for the game,. came back and dominate again, the retired again,. he never chased for the stats,. Basketball, and competition in general, is about being a CHAMPION,. ASIDE from TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS, Jordan was ALSO 10x SCORING CHAMPION and 3x STEALS CHAMPION,,players like Lebron can have their STATS but Jordan is the definition of a CHAMPION,. if anthony davis can Play until his 50s, he will pass Kareem, Jordan, Lebron and all the other Great Players in accumulated STATS LOL,. Last time i checked, Karl Malone's accumulated STATS were BETTER than Jordan's therefore Karl Malone is Better than Jordan. what did nietchze said? “Sometimes people don't want to hear the truth because they don't want their illusions destroyed.”.. 10x scoring champ, 3x steals champ and a couple of 3peats,..let that sink in and accept reality,. no one has ever came close to what Jordan did as a PLAYER.. the dude had done it all, he lost, he got injured, he got swept, he persevered. he BEAT them "OLD" PISTONS who had isiah at 29, rodman at 29, dumars at 27. He BEAT an 31 year OLD HIV magic who still averaging the same STATS and who don't have kareem anymore. STILL, he BEAT THEM,.

    • @emmanuelenyinwa1443
      @emmanuelenyinwa1443 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      "Jordan never went for the stats,"
      You were spouting a lot of GARBAGE like "Jordan catapulted the NBA into a global craze" (more people knew Magic than Jordan in Jordan's prime) because Magic brought JOY to the game and Jordan meanness and vindictiveness and "revenge" a word coined for Jordan himself, but I had to laugh out loud when I read you saying "Jordan never went for the stats", which is about as dishonest a comment as ever. In fact, the BULLS didn't start wining until Phil Jackson pried the ball from Jordan's greedy fingers. Then, Jordan just settled into fighting EVERYBODY, including several of his teammates and opponents when he did not get his way. And, for good measure, he began berating, dissing, insulting and antagonizing his opponents, referees, and league officials. The stories of Jordan cheating his friend's mom in a game of cards when he invited him to their home says all there is to say about this HORRIBLE human being you have chosen to admire and worship. It's your choice, of course.

    • @realitybites629
      @realitybites629 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NAH, you a hater and i pitty you LOL,. no player, not even today, can do those AIR jordan moves night after night LOL,. even players and coaches are in AWE with those Moves,. one game from him can provide enough top ten plays for a week LOL,. Jordan was tasked to play point guard and he averaged 8 assists before Phil came and you say Phil PRIED the BALL from HIM? He is a SYSTEM player Under DEAN SMITH,. the Moment he had a REAL TEAM behind him, he never Lost in the FINALS. he won a championship with a 17pt per game Pippen as his next best OFFENSIVE team mate,. You say jordan started fighting his team mates, how ironic, he won a 3peat with those TEAMMATES, including Bill Cartwright LOL,. Look at KYRIE leaving Lebron, Look at Isiah thomas getting his ass kicked out of cleaveland coz of Lebron LOL,.look at pippen egging Jordan to comeback LOL. You don't retire from the game at your PEAK if you were after the STATS LOL,. you forgetting BULLS reached ECF with doug collins LOL,. what jordan needed were TEAMMATES who can MEET his DEMANDS to WORK as HARD as HIM, LOL.. as opposed to lebron wanting Larry Hughes coz Larry Played GREAT in 2005,.getting Mo Williams coz mo had a great season in milwaukee, wanting Jameson coz jameson was Great in 2009, leaving cavs for miami coz bosh and wade are MVP candidates in 2010,. Jordan only demanded HARDWORK,. he brought out the BEST out of his teammates by making them work as hard as him LOL,. Jordan punches his teammates in the FACE and WINS a 3peat with them LOL,.and i am not admiring Jordan as a Person,. i LOVE watching him PLAY,. You are attacking Jordan's CHARACTER coz you know his game had no weakness,. Larry called him a GOD and admitted that if Jordan had a TEAM like his, mj would beat the celtics LOL,. YOU probably the ONLY one who won't acknowledge Jordan as the One responsible for NBA becoming a GLOBAL CRAZE LOL,. only REAL BASKETBALL FANS will appreciate those assists from Magic,. if you are a Casual, it wouldn't excite you as much as seeing someone SCORING,.in a HIGHLIGHT kind of manner,. Jordan getting cheered by FANS in the OPPONENTS homecourt isn't proof enough for you how JOYFUL it is to watch Jordan,. DAMN, Lebron had to wear number 6 in miami because the president of that TEAM had so much respect for Jordan as a Player,. Patt Riley was a Frequent Victim of Jordan's "character" but he acknowledge him as a PLAYER,. you are just a HATER

    Class is personified in his humble spirit.
    This era of basketball craves the the three ball. And all these patty cake hand shakes and feminine dances or skits. In that bulls era it was about redemption of the bullied bulls maturing into the Dominant gate keepers of a (masculine) tuff league. Im glad I was privileged to (experience) see it.
    I have no clue on what this era will represent. Im optimistic but realistic at the same time.

    Penny was dope. And he was my favorite player to watch while MJ was playing baseball. But Kobe and Penny are two different players. Kobe was a fucking beast. That killer instinct that he had can only be matched by MJ.

    I still don't understand that rhetoric that Portland "never had a chance" in '92....they were one of the only ones to even get the Bulls to a 2-2 series....and then were up 15 points in the 4th Quarter in Game 6....if anything Portland largely controlled the series after Game 1....they just choked at the end.

      That's true. In Hebrew, the name Michael Jordan literally means: ONE LIKE GOD WHO HAS DESCENDED. And that's was Jordan was to fans, a basketball god. Not to mention that Jordan was the only tall person in his family with his older brothers beings 5'4" and 5'5". Very short, but Michael grew to 6'6". He and his mom prayed for this. I believe their prayers were answered so Jordan would fulfill his earthly destiny.
