- There's a mod for Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door that turns the Pit of 100 Trials into a Roguelike Infinite Battle Mode! In the last video "Modded Thousand Year Door is Amazing", I made it all the way to floor 100 and defeated Bonetail. Now, I decided to press onward and see how far I can make it in the Infinite Pit!

You also need to try out PM64 Black Pit. It turns the original PM64 into a rouge like with its own story progressions, game modes, and implementation of some TTYD mechanics. I think you'd really like it
to add onto this, you should also play the TTYD64 mod by the same author, backports a lot of the mechanics from ttyd into pm64

@@StarmenRock lol yeah i had the same complaints, i wish there was an option to turn battle music back to pm64. and definitely i wish the backgrounds werent so fucked up.
@@Likeaboss-nf4ht can you believe that people gave me shit when i asked the creator how to edit the rom to get the original music and backgrounds back? I didnt even ask them to do it, I just wanted instructions to do it myself. People are so gross, i swear to god.

I started playing this mod last week, and I made the exact same mistake as you, burning life shrooms to get yoshi in peril, then discovering that everyone heals to full at a chest. If you want to run peril strats, keep those dry shrooms. So far, i prefer the strat of loading up on jumpmans and all or nothings, then using multibounce and rally wink.
I also stopped at 200 for now, and I'm a little disappointed that I also got 2 atomic boos and 2 bonetails. I was hoping to get some rawk hawks or shadow sirens mixed in somewhere
Actually played this for a while after watching your first part on it, reached and finished floor 500 yesterday and decided to end it on that as everything started getting maxed to the point I could barely customize anything anymore.
Probably some of the most fun I had with ttyd in years

You should do a run where the only damage you can do as mario are super guards and return postage
Level 2 showstopper has a higher chance than level 1. In fact, level 3 is the same as vanilla. (Unmodded)

Amazing Video Bringles! Genuine question though how do you get nintendo music on the channel without getting a copyright strike? I'm trying to use some nintendo music but I know they are stingy.
Try hitting a,b,y,x,a,b,y,x then use the new settings and raise % to atleast 150 attack and hp
I think its interesting that they soft nerfed peril strats by giving you healing every now and again

there are many hd mods for various dolphin emulated games. The one for paper mario 2 making the font and textured 1080 is really good.
