Tbh getting gold quickly really doesn’t matter, in the same way trying to rush pirate legend doesn’t matter. What makes sea of thieves fun is the experiences along the way, like getting chased and managing to keg trap someone, somehow surviving after getting rare’d. If you play this game to try and get gold quick, level up quick, you’ll soon get very bored. It’s a game where, IMO, you should play it slow and steady to really savour when you unlock the full ashen set, when you get your first fully custom ship, etc.
I think you can combine both. Grinding AND fighting/exploring. I would surely recommend every new player not to grind from the beginning on. It's important to learn the game mechanics, get a feeling for every ship and earn fighting experience before you start to grind. But as soon as you earned some experience, I would say it's better if you grind but also risk a bit and try to fight against others. The positive side of sea of thieves is that there's nearly no (longer) session where you don't need to defend your ship so it doesn't get that boring. And I would recommend doing the events instead of missions and to always vote for an emissary flag. If you reached pirate legend for example and you don't have any goals, then you can still raise reaper's emissary so you will get attacked more often. Or just use the PvP flag
The most fun part of getting gold is when a wrench gets thrown into the plan usually in way of “HOLY SHIT THERES A GALLEON FULL SAILING TOWARDS US” Followed by an hour long battle to the death between players, skeleton ships, and sea monsters. God I love the on-the-fly decisions you have to make
@@Lucian4694 the point is not in the loot alone it is in the fun and for me PVP is a very fun part you really wont enjoy the game fully if you are playing everything with the hope you get no PVP i mean what about "lets fight him and tkae his loot as well" if he had any

You should definetly try the vaults in the Devils Roar, it is really quite easy to do and there is basically no risk invovled because there are rarely any players in this region of the game.
I found doing the merchant emissary to be extremely profitable, whilst trading around the map, you can also do a sunken ship which brings in about 600k after 2 hours, in one play session i managed to make a million with 3 friends.
Me and my friends got around 1.3 million gold on doing a merchant flag on Fotd, we sold all the strong holds and stuff and that gave us ALOT. I don't know how we got so much rep and money but we did...
Yesterday, my buddy and I ran a Manifest Voyage with a Merchant Emissary Flag, we found the key and looted everything from each spot we found along with the final ship and we made over 300k in an hour. Just another suggestion
The thing with ashen vaults, you can have multiple keys to open the same vault, allowing to get to grade 5 emissary. Also gives a lot of better gold/hr compared to Fotd or world events.

@@mpananasjimaras2985 personally, I've found the manifest voyages really fun lately, in fact they are the only merchant voyages that I've ever been bothered to finish
I believe the easiest and best way to get gold is to just vote on a reaper's emissary and do all the world events without selling anything. Save this loot for the time when the Gold Rush event is active, and sell it all together. This will give you an extremely high amount of gold, depending on the world events your server have. Also when you reach G5, I recommend going after the other emissaries you can see on the map. The only thing that's not so good about this method is that it only gives you Reaper's Rep. But for someone who's already done with the reputation stuff, it's easily the most effecient way

i went from 72,000-145,000 after one voyage with skull order flag at level 4 I think. I started a couple days ago. I think the skull thing is the best tbh
Great video though I would say for method 1 to raise your emissary flag at your spawn outpost so if a meg or skel ship spawns on u, on your way to Morrows peak you will get bonus emissary progress
Method 1: Go to Morrow's Peak Outpost in the Devil's Roar and go to the gold hoarder's tent and buy an Ashen vault and raise your emissary flag, after that start the voyage on your boat and follow the directions that the wayfinder compass gives you, when done go back to any outpost and sell the loot. Method 2: Raise your Reaper's Bones emissary flag and go to the red flaming big skull in the sky, you'll fight ghost boats in different waves, first try and go for the captains and after that go for the flame heart boat itself, after that you'll return to the Reaper's Hideout and sell all your loot. Method 3: Go to Reaper's Hideout and raise the emissary flag, then go the Fort of the Damned, you'll be killing skeletons coming through different waves and people may come to PvP and steal your loot, when you are done go back to Reaper's Hideout and sell everything.
There is another So the fourth way is doing mermaid places. They are pretty easy to do and don't require to have anything. You have to fight with monsters and do some riddles, but in the end you won't have problems with other players mid doing it and after returning on your ship, your loot won't get into unwanted hands, because you need to interact with something first to get them. And if you are collecting coral bottles, you may find ocean breath. update: How much money you get from it? So it's quite heavy to tell, you can do some of them once, and almost instantly restart, going second time getting more better loot. Average going through the place, starts from something around 15K and go up to 30K depending on your luck or bad luck. I did one today, I went out with 60k. Still i could quit later with better loot, if i would want to. Those numbers can be little disrupted by "breath of sea" because one bottle costs 4K/6K/8K depending on its rarity.
Me and my buddy were on our second day playing and we beat the fort of the damned...died multiple times and kept luring the armored goons to cannon range. Spent like 3 hours doing it. Then after we got all the loot and started selling it a lightning bolt struck our ship and killed me. We lost like 40-50% of the loot to sinking. Ah well fun times though
I just wanna quickly mention that you compared the emissary 5 reapers/flameheart combo to no emissary ashen vault. In comparison, the vault would be 90k average for a grade 5 ashen vault and the reapers/flameheart is 150k. Still, great video! Just wanted to make a fair comparison!
A TIP FOR FLAMEHEART: If you get into a lobby/server and there is no FlameHeart, you can go to Order Of Souls and you can buy like a smaller version of FlameHeart from the Order Of Souls lady. What is great about it is that nobody can see it and that when you start it, it is at a island close to you. To get more money, put up the Order Of Souls Emissary flag.
This may take longer, but my friend and I easily make around 100k with a level 5 merchant emissary on a lost manifest quest. It’s a fairly simple quest, but make sure you get the captains key in order to get as much as possible

@@gojo8672 For Of The Damned
Nice vid im getting into sea of thieves content and are taking some tips from you thank you
No problem 👍
Thanks!
this really helped me out
i went from 72,000-145,000 after one voyage with skull order flag at level 4 I think. I started a couple days ago. I think the skull thing is the best tbh
Out of all the videos on sot this one helped the most, I went from making 25k a day to almost 70k in an hour.
Ok but what gloves and belt are you wearing. Looks awesome
just started playing sea of thieves, it is so much fun
Great video though I would say for method 1 to raise your emissary flag at your spawn outpost so if a meg or skel ship spawns on u, on your way to Morrows peak you will get bonus emissary progress
If you want another way to get pl fast do flamehearts if you can because it drops skulls, crates and chests
Method 3: Go to Reaper's Hideout and raise the emissary flag, then go the Fort of the Damned, you'll be killing skeletons coming through different waves and people may come to PvP and steal your loot, when you are done go back to Reaper's Hideout and sell everything.
very helpful, thanks
What is that sword at 1:18 ?
I'll save you 13 minutes:
1.) Ashen Vaults (gold Hoarders emis)
2.) Flameheart runs (Reapers bones emis)
3.) Fort of the Damned (no emis)
fod = reaper
Thank you so much best tips of getting gold thank you again
i really love your videos they help me ALOT like ALOT ALOT keep doing these videos man i 100% think you need pewdiepies channel haha
Ok I have my Mountain Dew and Doritos ITS TIME TO GRIND
Naw gotta get that mango Arizona and some cheese it snapped
Dont forget for the ashen vaults, u should wait until grade 5 at least before selling and also stacking is faster instead of selling every time aswell
What is stacking?
@@pyrogaming5560 doing multiple quests without selling so you end up with alot of loot but only sell once. High risk high reward kinda.
Fort nights + double rates + bones emissary + fort of the damned with barrels save = HIUGE MONEY
Fortnite?😳
They got rid of fort nights. Makes me really sad :(
Do i need to level my gold hoarder up to get those wuests?
is flameheart still availabe?
nah sadly not, thanks to lore
There is another
So the fourth way is doing mermaid places. They are pretty easy to do and don't require to have anything. You have to fight with monsters and do some riddles, but in the end you won't have problems with other players mid doing it and after returning on your ship, your loot won't get into unwanted hands, because you need to interact with something first to get them. And if you are collecting coral bottles, you may find ocean breath.
update:
How much money you get from it?
So it's quite heavy to tell, you can do some of them once, and almost instantly restart, going second time getting more better loot. Average going through the place, starts from something around 15K and go up to 30K depending on your luck or bad luck. I did one today, I went out with 60k. Still i could quit later with better loot, if i would want to. Those numbers can be little disrupted by "breath of sea" because one bottle costs 4K/6K/8K depending on its rarity.
Please keep making content!
6:15 how Can you run while you have the chest in your hands ?
What level do you need to be to be able to get a vault mission
Me and my buddy were on our second day playing and we beat the fort of the damned...died multiple times and kept luring the armored goons to cannon range. Spent like 3 hours doing it. Then after we got all the loot and started selling it a lightning bolt struck our ship and killed me. We lost like 40-50% of the loot to sinking. Ah well fun times though
good vid man
In the intro your character is synchronised with your voice xD
When me and my friends did flameheart we got over 200,000
I do flame heart sole all the time that I do and it pretty easy 😃
You are so cool I have subscribed and licked Creo going
This may take longer, but my friend and I easily make around 100k with a level 5 merchant emissary on a lost manifest quest. It’s a fairly simple quest, but make sure you get the captains key in order to get as much as possible
this is a very nice man right here
do you have to be a certain gold hoarder rank?
the higher the gold hoarder level the better the key you get for the vaults
is it much bigger loot if we sell the flameheart items in reapers than in the order of souls?
Do you have to sell the loot for Reapers to method 2 and 3 to work?
for the maximum amount of money yes
@@SeaOfConcepts Ok thanks for the help!
