Great video. You shared the info I needed without needlessly fluffing up the vid and just pointed us to the other curator for the merchants instead of taking the info from them and using it as your own. That's a sub from me 👍
For solo Order of Souls, if you want to stay on the server (i.e. don't dive), I found that the Ashen Bounty for a Skeleton Crew and Ashen Bounty for a Skeleton Captain are a very good mix. In both cases you can lure skellies (especially the annoying gold ones) into the geysers to kill them very quickly. The geysers on small islands are easy to avoid if you stand just off the beach in the water. Large islands are a little bit trickier, but I find that the large islands in the Devil's Roar are smaller on average than the large islands in the regular Sea of Thieves. As a result, they are easier to find the bounty target, and much easier to keep an eye on the horizon. I have yet to encounter a bounty inside a cave in the Devil's Roar (which is something that happens often in the regular Sea). Also, Morrow's Peak seems to have a more central position in relation to all the Roar islands, making it easier to play it safe and sell often. If you're going to dive, the duel with the Ashen Lord is probably more optimal, but that can get very repetitive due to the limited number of islands where the Ashen Lord spawns. It also increases your chance of getting attacked by another crew.
A quick way to get your Emissary grade to level 4 before doing these methods is to go to a Treasury and make sure you collect EVERY Trident that's there, (there are 10 Tridents at every Treasury) and put every Trident and loot from the Treasury Vault on your ship. Then on your way to an outpost to sell, stop by a small island and look for an Emergent Skelly Captain/Ashen Guardian. Kill them, dig up the Ashen Chest/Storage Crate they have for the "X Mark's the Spot" (it's always on the island they spawned at), and you will be grade 4. I've tested this with Athena, Order of Souls, and Gold Hoarders. Both Athena and Gold Hoarders got me to grade 3.8ish and then a single Emergent Skelly Captain/Ashen Guardian w/ their "X Mark's the Spot" map gave me grade 4. The Order of Souls got me to grade 4 before I even left the Treasury! Key is to make sure you collect every Trident and DON'T DEPLETE THEM. Make sure you put every Trident on your ship as well as the treasure! Then after hitting grade 4 dive to the lucrative events! This is just a fast way to grade 4 so you're not handing in loot at Grade 3 before diving to the lucrative event! 👊
@@dbabdbbbghbb Also it's not about making money but to get your Emissary grade to level 4. Much easier to see in action than to type out in a comment. 🤝
Unfortunately the bottle quests aren’t always on the same island. There’s been a handful of times I’ve found a bottle quest and it’s another island even tho rare said that wasn’t the case it’s still there
@@HxC2daB Not the bottle quests, the Notes that Captain Skelly's drop that lead to a Storage Crate or the Ashen Guardian drops a note that leads to the Ashen Chest, they (from my experience) always are dug up on the same island that the Skeleton was killed on. Hope that helps 👍
In Ps5 beta I didn't saw a single other player (high sea), and than there pulled a skeleton galleon and a Meg at the same time. I was like finally some action, well yea they sank me me
One thing you overlooked are Skeleton fleets which are the best raid I’ve found so far for all 3 major trading factions since you get a lvl 3 hero item and supply boxes with 40 planks/cannonballs each which are great for hourglass pvp if your cheap and don’t want to buy supplies .
Great vid but can someone explain when he says captain voyages and sailor voyages and then picking up the emissary voyage where would u pick that up and then stacking over quests with emissary digs already there???
I'm only on day 2 of this game. I have 150k of the 250k for my first ship. Any recommendations on what I should be running for gold that's fast and easy for a new solo player? I'm currently running Forts. But finding that compiling all the loot and then selling it takes almost 2 hours IF there are no setbacks.
The quest on the mast of your ship gives you 50,000 -75,000 gold every time you do it. It only takes like an hour or so but it is high risk and there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to get the reward as there are other players doing the same quest, going for the same objective. However, I have completed it solo you just kind of have to get lucky and hope you don’t encounter anyone else especially as a solo.f
Yes it’s the same for safer seas. Just will be much slower and rewarding. Truth be told the high seas are usually not p v p full of players. Often people will leave you alone if you leave them a alone. Unless they are reapers. Idk how new you are to the sea of thieves but trust me when i say give it a shot. It’s not full of everyone fighting everyone. Plus I’m pretty there you are capped at level 25ish so you will need to go to high seas to get higher levels. But i might be wrong about that. Safer seas is there for you to get your feet wet…now that you’ve got used to the water jump in!
I’m a little confused about the gold hoarder optimizing. Are you voting down additional voyages while on your emissary quest? Does that not cancel your emissary voyage?
Nope the emissary quest is picked up from the vendor of your emissary (gold hoarder guy in the tent) it doesn’t show up as a quest on your ship table though and you can vote for another one
There is a great misunderstanding regarding emissary bonuses. Any bonus you receive is only paid to your emissary level, not your final total. It counts to rank you up, but you get no extra to spend. Compare the total earned in your logbook to how much your emissary increased. Big difference.
He's saying the bonus is 150% extra, you're including the base loot. At grade four you get 100% base gold PLUS 100% Emissary gold, grade five you get 100% base gold PLUS 150% Emissary gold.
What if I told you that you can stack 15 vault keys in under 20 mins ? What if I told you that you can dig 80 cursed chests in 1h-2h ? These guides are nice but not even close to what you can really do on the seas if you know the mechanics of the game.

Did you find out?
You don't need to dive to a raid or tall tale to switch servers. Digs also switch servers and allow you to dive again right away without a cool down.
True, but it is by far the most efficient way of server hopping
@@_fire_fox_1152 it's faster to dive to a dig voyage. You dig the two chests and can immediately dive again without a cool down.
